With all the `` busy '' looks of all the mallets out there, I decided to go back to a simple blade. Imagine my surprise when alignment made simple allowed me to free up the stroke and start rolling it pure again. The PLD Anser 30 is pure off the strike and not harsh with the mishits. Got the original PLD Anser 2 and played and loved it for a year or so... i never thought i 'd part with this putter. Just rolled the Anser D. The looks are stunning but I was blown away by the feel of this putter. It's amazing in every way. Graphite shaft is new to me but i am really liking it. I have always loved the shape of the Anser 2. Now I 've converted to the wide blade and I ca n't go back. Both excellent putters... for me the Anser D is superior in looks and especially feel. Happy hunting!

I was in a golf store to buy some shoe spikes and a couple grips. The last thing on my mind was leaving with a new high priced putter, but I stopped by the putting room to roll a few for fun. Grabbed the usual Scotty, rolled a few with a couple others and then grabbed a PLD Anser 2 that caught my eye. I fell in love and bought it. I own 17 putters and rotate through them, never making up my mind to stick with any one of them... until now. I 've played about eight rounds with it and hours on the practice green. I ca n't put it down. The feel is amazing. I have never felt another putter that has this feel. It's just quality and inspires confidence. It's soft, but not white insert no feel kind of soft. I bought the Fetch Putter about 5 years ago and have never regretted it. The feel is comfortable, the fetch property is a back saver for a senior such as myself. Recently purchased this putter as I was looking for a firmer feel. Even though I have used Ping grips in the past, I did replace this one with one that I am most comfortable with and voila, instant gratification as now the ball gets to the hole, on line, and just a little past. Since the mid- 90s, my primary flatstick has been an Answer 2 BeCu. I lag great with it, but struggle in the 5'- 10' range. It's the first putter I 've used that I can hit midrange putts with and lag putt with. I 've had the best putting rounds of my life since moving to the B63. I 've historically played white hot putters like the XG# 1 many years ago and more recently Tri- Hot One, but have started to like milled putters as I 've been playing with them more. The Ai- ONE gives me that feeling of a firmer milled putter and more responsiveness/feedback on each putt, while offering forgiveness with the AI- ONE insert which helps maintain speed on those off center strikes. The last thing I 'll mention is the beautiful blue finish paired with the champagne colored insert. This is a really good looking putter.

I have always used traditional- ish equipment. This putter is a tiny bit more forgiving than my old SC. But still has a traditional look and feel. Off center hits I have noticed do not lose speed like other blade putters. They are on to something with the AI line.

Ditched the Scotty. I swore by it until I tried the Odyssey Milled. While not much different it just had a better feel to it. I was able to get it. Few feet closer to the hole with the occasional putt dropping. I ’ ll admit it is expensive but I can see getting menu years out of it like the Scotty. Overall I am glad I took the chance. Only thing I did was go to a Super Stroke grip because I ’ ve grown accustomed.

I 've been playing the standard Eleven putter with the White Hot insert for two years; it's the most solid and steady putter I 've owned, but I thought maybe an upgrade would help, so I ordered this Milled Eleven Tour Lined Double Bend with the Golfpride Pro Only Blue Star grip. It's obviously a precision instrument, a thing of beauty designed for a specific purpose: to put the ball in the hole. The double lines on top align precisely with the width of the ball, leaving no doubt about aim or strike point. The feel is beyond solid; it's like a vault door lockup, propelling the ball like a machine with perfect spin down the line. It's surprisingly heavy yet takes significant force to get the ball to the hole. It's almost easy to lag to the vicinity on long putts; short putts seem automatic. I like the understated clean look and the dark color to reduce glare. For a traditional look, straight back and through, face balanced, steady mallet style putter, this is the best.

Upgraded my clubs this year and after playing with my old Odyssey Rossi II, figured it was time to try a new putter. Compared the Ai- One Milled Eleven T DB to other models in the Ai- One series as well as other brands at the store and decided to bite the bullet and purchase. After a month of play, it ’s everything I hoped for. Solid feel, allows me to roll the ball straight and consistent, and gives me the confidence needed to make putts.

Expensive putter but worth every penny to me! My feel for distance increased dramatically.

I have 6 Odyssey mallet putters. This one is by far the best feeling putter. Solid contact on all putts. It truly feels like it putts itself the exact right speed. I kind of feel guilty using it against my friends.

I have putted with this putter and really like it. It plays as advertised. If it had a slant neck it would be perfect. I think I ’ ll wait on the slant version and see if Odyssey releases a slant neck model.
When selecting a pure putter, consider features such as the head shape, weight distribution, and grip style. A well-balanced putter can enhance your stability and control during your stroke. Additionally, look for materials that provide a good feel and feedback, which can improve your overall performance on the green.
The material of a pure putter can significantly influence its feel, weight, and durability. Common materials include stainless steel, aluminum, and various composites, each offering different benefits. A heavier material may provide more stability, while lighter options can enhance maneuverability, allowing for a more personalized putting experience.
Pure putters come in various styles, including blade, mallet, and counterbalanced designs. Blade putters are typically more traditional and offer a classic feel, while mallet putters often provide more forgiveness and alignment aids. Understanding the differences in styles can help you choose a putter that suits your putting stroke and personal preferences.
Using a pure putter can enhance your putting accuracy by providing better alignment and a consistent stroke. The right putter can help you develop a more repeatable motion, which is crucial for sinking putts. Additionally, features like alignment aids and weight distribution can contribute to improved performance on the green.
The grip of a pure putter is essential for comfort and control during your putting stroke. Consider the thickness, material, and texture of the grip, as these factors can affect your feel and stability. A well-fitted grip can help you maintain a consistent hand position and improve your overall putting performance.
