I have this ball return as well as the Puttout mat and gates. I 'm my opinion you need the gates to fully benefit from this device. The gates allow you to ensure the ball is coming straight out of the face as it tracks into the cup. The one improvement I would like to see in future versions of this device would be more pronounced guardrails on with sides of the cup as well as a backstop at the top of the ramp. These changes would allow me to hit putts that simulate much longer putts than the relatively short mat allow. The Puttout mat is the very best mat I have found. My Mat is 5 years old and it is as true as the first day I used it. I highly recommend this product as well as the mat and gates.

I saw this on sale at Golf Galaxy and picked it up. I figured I 'd use it as another putting tool when not using my 8' x 1' putting mat, raised ramp hole, etc... I was in a golf store to buy some shoe spikes and a couple grips. The last thing on my mind was leaving with a new high priced putter, but I stopped by the putting room to roll a few for fun. Grabbed the usual Scotty, rolled a few with a couple others and then grabbed a PLD Anser 2 that caught my eye. I fell in love and bought it. I own 17 putters and rotate through them, never making up my mind to stick with any one of them... until now. I 've played about eight rounds with it and hours on the practice green. I ca n't put it down. The feel is amazing. I have never felt another putter that has this feel. It's just quality and inspires confidence. It's soft, but not white insert no feel kind of soft. More like how a muscle back feels when you hit it pure, only easy to make great contact. I 'm thinking about listing a bunch of putters on ebay because I ca n't imagine ever putting with anything else. Lamkin has been working with Iomic for more than a decade, the original Sticky 2. 3 is an example which I use on all my other clubs. Bought a couple new TaylorMade TP Reserve Putters( love the B- 11), and I noticed how much better my stroke became, so I put it on my Evnroll EV2 gamer. Same result, better stroke. I 've already got a lot invested in my EV with a BGT Stability Tour 2 installed, but after I mess around with the TP Reserve, who knows. Back to the Lamkin Deep Etched, the composites are real smooth and a huge upgrade to this classic that fits my hands.

I bought this putter about 3 months ago. Had trouble at first getting the putter to work. Added a super stroke tour 3. 0 XL with a 75 gram weight in the grip. Added 30 gram weight in the toe and 35 in heel to help my miss which is a push. Kinda made it a toe hang with face balance setup. Had my best 18 with 25 putts a couple rounds ago. 10/10 review
