The person who tore the side trying to zip it probably didn ’ t lubricate the zippers as per instructions. Comes with a tube of silicone grease and it frees up the outer waterproof zippers to move freely.

We just returned from a trip that required the use of this bag. It was used on top of a Toyota RAV4 with a rack on the roof. The bag is quite durable, easy to put up and take down and best of all, I can attest to it being quite water resistant. At one point in the trip, while barreling down the road at highway speeds, we encountered a downpour intense enough to warrant slowing to 40 mph. The contents were perfectly dry.
