I wear these shoes to work every day and everywhere. Tough as nails and looks great even beat up. I never complain about foot pain anymore with these. The soles are so tough and the wear is minimal. The leather does wear out after a while meaning a looser fit but the hide hold up. I 'm on my 3 or 4th pair.

Wore them all day on the first wear with minor soreness towards the end of the day and I was on my feet most of the time. These are definitely a great moc toe boot and I ’ m very pleased overall. I ’ ve been wearing these boots for about a month now and have nothing but great things to say. I would recommend these to anyone. I don ’ t have a particularly wide foot but I like to wiggle my toes a lot and the toe box has plenty of space for that. I used their online foot sizer with my foot as flat as possible and my toes spread out as wide as I could get them and was recommended a 9. 5 wide, they fit perfectly. Very well made. You can tell they are individually crafted in an old school manner and not just spat out in mass numbers and I love that. The leather is heavy duty and beautiful, I get compliments on them wherever I go.

I bought these 4 months ago. The break in process was miserable and super painful. I am a high school teacher I wear these 12 hours( or more) a day. They are extremely comfortable to stand in all day they feel like they are still breaking in. Extremely satisfied with these boots though there do run extremely big. I went a whole size down and I went with wide. I think I could have went a size and half down.

What an awesome pair of true American work wear that makes you earn your comfort as vs slide em on and go. Personally I love the breakin process as it makes the owner earn hes or hers fit and once broken in your good to go. The leather smells of quality. The style is second to none and they just look good. However, there's a break in period but for me it took several months to conform to my legs. I recommend wearing quality socks above the ankle. I plan to keep these for a long time... may have to have them resole in a year or two

I bought my Rough& Tough IR's almost 5 years ago and while I dont wear them often they have only aged like a fine wine. If I do n't wear them for a while they become narrow and tight but give them some heat or mink oil and they loosen back up and once they get hot from body heat they loosen back like my childhood baseball glove. I own/have owned four pairs of heritage Red Wings. Really, I love them all and am a big fan…they ’ re perhaps my favorite brand for sentimental reasons and quality for the cost. But these I just lobe as they are the only pair that have become completely comfortable without some slight compromise of comfort. They did take some breaking in but nothing like my 877s. And now are super comfortable while providing great protection, support and durability. I have feet issues and sadly My Iron Rangers and 877s both hurt some days when wearing. These? Never. I ’ ve owned several pairs of Blundstone ’s Chelseas and these are FAR better made and superior in comfort. I haven ’ t seen any of the fraying at the top- of the elastic others have encountered, and I ’ ve worn them most days for three months. Really love these. Like…seriously. Um… can you tell? I expected a break- in period but these blacksmiths were comfortable out of the box. Soft but supportive and the fit was perfect for me. No chafing, roomy but not loose. The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. Chose the copper rough and tough because I think the look is so classic and understated. Love the versatility as well. Can use them with just about every pair of pants and( even shorts) in my closet. I ’ ve worked for the Water company where i live and not really being “ water proof ” i still wore them and they would hold up for 6 months or so. I bought mine almost 3 years ago and they 're the most comfortable and useful footwear I 've ever owned. I wear them 95% of the time, on daily 2+- 4 km dog walks, outdoors, year- round and they 're at their peak look and feel. The single possible improvement I made- and that's on me because we have 4 months of winter here- is to replace the soles; the originals are quite tricky on frozen ground. Or a great workout, just watch your head yeah? I chose Vibram, a quick fix and better suited for that.

here's how much i love these boots. for the last 2 decades they have been on a constant rotation: oldest to still- in- the- box. as the oldest worn- out pair rotate out into the garbage( after years), the next pair moves to oldest slot for really dirty work, and i open the box for the newest pair for general wear. as soon as that box is opened, i order the next box. so, i always have a ratty pair, a semi ratty pair, a new pair, and a boxed pair. they are everyday wear, work& non- work, on& off the motorcycle. highly recommend, obviously.

Nice boots. I always order a wide in a cowboy boot and have several pairs of Rebels in wide. These are WIDE and the toe area is really, really tall. Like wiggle your toes and not touch the top tall. I am not sure why these fit so much different than all my other Rebels but they do. To solution, I added another insole on top of the non- removable insole already in the boot( this was also a first as all my other Rebels have a removable insole). I am still happy with them, but they certainly fit different. Additionally, they are substantially darker brown than the pictures would indicate. I hope this helps someone!

I got these 2 years ago and yesterday I was at the beach with my wife. I wore these boots to the Santa Monica beach in CA. Before you ask, I hate sandals and shorts, I will not wear them. As I walked with my wife by the shore, I avoided the waves because I did not want my boots to get wet. Well, my wife was enjoying the ocean water when she thought it would be funny to hold me in place as the wave hit my boots. They got wet and submerged to about the 6 '' mark. My feet were dry. I was confused and surprised, they did not let any ocean water in at all. So I figured, why not and I pushed it further, with about 3 second intervals of waves, they survived. Until the water went above the 8 inch height and then my socks got wet, which is understandable. So I wanted to write a review because it deserved a review because it did a great job preventing water from getting in. It was kind of fun to be honest but the salt is not great afterwards.

Easily, this is the best pair of work boots I 've ever purchased. I work in IT and while it may sound like I sit at a desk behind a computer screen, I assure you, I am climbing, squatting, lifting, pulling, in cramped quarters, outside, on roof tops, in dirty crawl spaces... All in the PNW, so rain is a constant concern and not only are these incredibly comfortable but they 're sturdy, allowing me to feel confident that my boots will hold up under whatever pressure I put on them, keeping my feet, warm and dry. Buy a half a size lower for slip- ons and you 'll never have to worry about them getting too loose from wear and tear over time. I have two pairs now, the black pair and now the brown ones. I got these a month ago and they are excellent. I am a firefighter and these are the best pair of station shoes I have ever had. Super comfortable and light weight. My back has never felt better since I bought them. I got a 10. 5 not sure how they would stretch, next time I ’ ll order a 10. They are true to size. Lesson learned on my end. Awesome boots! They 're surprisingly completely waterproof, breathe well, and keep my feet warm all day while working in snow/slush. The only complaint, if you can call it one, was that it took a little while to break in, but I wear these every day, even when I do n't need to, they 're that comfortable.

I really love my boots. It ’s now my 4th pair. I like how Dr. Martens can be dressed up or dressed down. I wear them to work giving a professional look, but then I can still rock them at happy hour with a dressed down look. If you never had a pair they are heavy. They weigh at least 4- 5 pounds.

I have had a pair of these Wingshooter ST for 1. 5 years working in a wet and dusty granite shop 9 hrs a day. I keep track of my miles and I have just over 1000 miles on these boots so far in extremely harsh conditions. They are not worn out yet, but I am starting to think about replacing them in 6 months or so and I will be definitely buying the same boot again!

After 6 months still enjoy wearing these boots everyday light and comfortable. I oil every week to stay dry inside as needed working with water company. Tough toe was worth it still no holes in the leather. Went size larger with insole gave more room inside without feeling to loose.
