Unsure how long this product will last for but happy to put it to the test. I always recommend adopting a dog since they ’ re great with notifying any little noise, but this product is great back up.

[ the design is sooo slick! i used to have a smaller pepper spray, but i switched to this one because it also includes an alarm, with which i feel safer. I ’ ve carried this around for a few weeks now and while it ’s longer than my previous one, it doesn ’ t stand out as much and I feel as confident using it as the one before.

[ While I haven ’ t been able to test out the actual pepper spray portion of this the design itself seems very simple and straightforward. It had a button for the alarm and a cover for the pepper spray so you don ’ t accidentally deploy. Has a key ring on the bottom to attach to whatever you choose. It makes me feel safer when I walk the dog at night!

[ Although I have not had to use this, I hope I never do, I do feel safer knowing I have something with me for protection. I like that it has a safety flip top to prevent accidental spraying. It has UV marking dye to confirm suspects after exposure. It also has a built in alarm that can be used separately from the pepper spray. [ We needed something easy and non- techy to install on doors and windows to ensure our 94- year old mother would n't wander outside without us knowing. In the past she's opened the sliding back door and walked down the street. She easily gets lost and will get very upset... it's horrible. We have great neighbors who are aware and very helpful but these little door window alarms are fantastic. They were super easy to attach to the sliding door, her bedroom window and our side door! They even came with the batteries and little mounting strips. I recommend you plan where you want to place them cause they stick really well!! I went to move it after a day( since mom kept poking at it) and it was securely mounted on the window. The settings( we use the little bell) are under the little removable plate, so mom was n't able to turn it off or fiddle with the settings. Definitely great for peace of mind when I am in the other room doing dishes or checking on something in the oven. We do n't use the alarm setting but man is it loud. I set it up the first night just to test. My husband practically fell over himself when he opened the sliding door to let the dog out. Really happy with this purchase.

Bought this approximately 1 month ago as an upgrade to a similar piece of equipment I was already using. Pros: Clips on to waistband and is secure. Rip cord is easy to grab if you needed it. Device is loud and flashes light to draw attention. Cons: It's easy to accidentally deploy this thing if you 're not careful. The light is also very easy to turn on so you have to keep an eye on it so it does n't turn on and run through the battery in your bag.

I 'm glad I bought this radio( about 2 years ago) and I 'm buying another for a relative. Several things are great about this radio:* it's reliable.* the alarm is loud enough to wake me up even if the alert on my cell phone does n't. Since lots of storms come through at night, I appreciate this!* the double AA batteries have kept the radio working when the power has gone out and when I 've brought the radio into the basement when tornadoes have been spotted close by( twice).* plays the weather forecast at the push of a button.* programming is pretty straightforward, though it takes some time. People who are n't keen on electronics might want some help and some patience. No complaints.

I 've had NOAA Weather Radio receivers around the home since 1974 from various manufacturers. Over the past half a century, I have come to rely on weather alert radios made by Midland, as they have the longest life span, and provided outstanding reliability over the years. In fact, my oldest working weather radio is a 1989 vintage model 74- 102 and it still does a magnificent job. Currently, I have three Model WR120 alert radios around the house, and no matter where I am at, I can hear any emergency message from the National Weather Service day or night. Also, the battery backup feature has provided continuous protection even after power failures. The WR120s really are the gold standard of weather radios, and I often buy extras off Amazon as holiday `` stocking stuffers '' for my coworkers, family and friends. They really are a great gift idea.

Can ’ t remember how many years I have owned this weather radio by Midland but It is still as reliable as it was when it was new. I know it is several years old because I bought it new. Thank you Midland for producing quality products. Have not had this unit not to work or serviced in any capacity. If it was to quit functioning, I would buy another one just like this one.
