I was confused why some people said these shoes are comfortable vs. others who said they are uncomfortable, until I got the shoes. The shoes are rather narrow, so if you have wide and/or flat feet( like me), they will be quite uncomfortable, as your feet with go over the edge and the soles are very hard, and they have a high arch, and they stab you a little bit on the edge. I was tempted to return them but I loved the look of them so I kept wearing them. They eventually broke in a bit, and become more comfortable. Now I do n't even notice the stabbing, or perhaps it is gone. They fit my feet much better now, and I love wearing them around the house. These are my new and cute house shoes. Occasionally I will wear them out, but I fear about getting them dirty! Anyways, the shoes are great, super cute, and take a bit of time to break in. Also the sizing is a bit on the small size. I usually wear an 8, and I got an 8. 5 and they fit just perfectly. I was hoping to wear thick socks with them but they do n't fit then.

For reference, my foot length is 25 cm and width 10 cm, and the size I tried on was EU 39( just because the retailer sent me a wrong size; I initially ordered EU 40). The size fit me but was really snug. I then tried these same shoes in a store and found out my perfect size was EU 40, 5 if I wantes to fit a thicker sock. I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

I have these in tan and black, my absolute go- to winter boot. I do not wear socks, I just step in and go, leaving the laces loose. They fit perfectly with skinny jeans, rolled up flannel lined jeans, my athleta jeggings, and there is no more comfortable boot I 've ever owned, and that list includes the Ugg Adirondack III. I found these while searching for a pair of long lasting waterproof snow proof winter boots. I have to say I ’ m very picky about boots, so when I got these, I was a little disappointed to see they didn ’ t have a side zipper, but that ’s my fault for not reading thoroughly. The description says leather and suede upper, but that ’s only the stripe, the actual majority of the boot is a soft canvas, which isn ’ t what I was looking for. Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. Perfect height and easy to tie and so far has great traction on snow and ice. Be sure and order 1/2 size larger.

I needed waterproof lightweight AND comfortable walking boots for my trip to Ireland in October. After doing a bunch of research, I noticed SOREL kept coming up. I find that many waterproof boots are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time, esp. when walking long distances as I ’ m used to getting 16, 000- 25, 000 steps/day come rain or shine. All of the reviews for this boot kept talking about how comfy these shoes are and how well they hold up to the weather. I am THRILLED I decided to go for it. They live up to ALL the hype as far as comfortably, fit, easy to get on and off without a lot of fuss like other laced boots, grip and warmth. I can ’ t speak to dryness as I haven ’ t worn them in the rain or snow yet, but I ’ m sure they will be fine. They do run true to size, however if you use an insert like Dr Scholls, you should go up a half size. I ’ m normally a 10, but brought the 10. 5 to make sure I had room enough for my Plantar Fasciitis insert and a good sock. The 10. 5 is a perfect fit. I also love how stylish these are- can be dressed up or down. If you ’ re on the fence about this purchase don ’ t wait a moment longer.

I just got these today( bought online). Fast delivery! The shoes are comfortable, beautiful and definitely worth purchasing. I bought the canoe color. The only thing I can say in criticism is that they are n't slip- ons( I have to get my heels in), and had been looking for shoes/slippers that I would n't have to reach down to get on. They, also, slip off the heel as I walk. This would be annoying, except my foot goes right back in as I step down.

I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

I live in Minnesota and my outside winter activities are limited to walking outside only- I 'm not a winter weather sort of gal but I do like to stay upright when I 'm walking. These are not beautiful, and they 're a bit of a bugger for me to pull on, but I have n't fallen a single time since I 've gotten these and I 'm thankful.
