I bought this watch with two gift cards and$ 10 worth of ScoreCard rewards. Shipping was free. So it was essentially a gift. I was looking for a watch that could track steps, but also had durability and water resistance in mind. I also didn ’ t want a watch that looked too “ tech - ish ” and was made by a reputable company. I like it very much. The app is cool, setup was easy( self explanatory when using the app), and it is comfortable to wear 24 hrs a day. For<$ 100, this is an awesome watch. My only issue is that Dick ’s doesn ’ t carry these in store. I wanted to see it with my own eyes before buying, but I ’ m glad I gambled and bought it online.

Had a FitBit years back for the purpose of tracking steps to keep healthy. Seriously think the item never tracked accurately. Came across Casio G - Shock watch/ Digital step tracker. 1st off, for Me not being a `` Watch '' person, I thought I would have a difficult time adjusting to it. NO. Very comfortable band, do n't really know it's there, seems to be tracking steps well. Appears more accurate than FitBit. Seeing the numbers also helps motivate for more steps if you 're short of your goal.:)

Initially was not the Garmin I was going to go with but after seeing this side by side with my planned purchase the Instinct 3 was Hands down the better option for me. Bit of a learning curve getting accustomed to all the bells and whistles that this watch packs. The battery life for me as a backpacker was a huge selling point( 7days of always on)... I 'm an avid golfer and it is fantastic for the game of golf also great for tracking daily activity, my daily walks, I absolutely love the tactical and regular flashlight built into the watch which allows me to get up at night and not have to turn on any lights. We recently had a major storm come through the area where power went out and I navigated the entire house and the breaker panels with my watch - very convenient. There's almost not a single use in my life that I do or this watch does n't come in handy. Sometimes it's a little confusing on where things are located and what buttons to push but I keep going back to the YouTube video and that's helpful. Do n't forget in the activities menu you can edit them and change where the appear in the menu so now Golf appears at the top of my activities for me and then other things based upon their use are now in priority order, that is also very helpful. I do n't have enough good things to say about it. If you do n't like the bezel color, I ordered different bezels that go on the top of it that are silver and red, black and white, so now you have multiple bezels you can use as well as multiple faces you can pick from and just transform the watch to look many different ways. Very cool

I love this watch! Admittedly, it has more capabilities than I use, but the features I use are very good. Wearing the watch along with my Oura ring didn ’ t last long and the latter has been relegated to my dresser drawer as the former does everything the Oura does and more… especially in sleep tracking. I ’ m pleased I got the 47mm rather than the 51mm. The display on the AMOLED is great. I did change the watch strap as the orange was pretty obnoxious.

If you want a watch that can track any activity and has a battery last for weeks look no further. This watch does it all, with accurate GPS tracking and long battery life it is perfect for my uses. I mainly use it for running and cycling and its amazing. While this has all the bells and whistles it is definetley meant for the more serious consumer. I bought this a month ago and am delighted w it! It looks cool, the interchangeable watch faces are fun to experiment with, and the amount of data I get is incredible! In GPS mode, it does not need any time to locate the satellites like previous Garmins I ’ ve owned. It took awhile to get the hang of all the buttons, but once I did it ’s no problem. I really appreciate ALL the functions available on this device. The only criticisms are pretty minor:( 1) It does seem to get kind of dim in certain lighting conditions, like the “ auto brightness ” function maybe isn ’ t the best; and( 2) When it displays my sleep patterns the colors used to represent REM sleep and “ awake ” are so similar that it ’s just a little more confusing than it would be otherwise. But I am so glad I bought this watch!

The Fenix 8 solar has a long battery life. I have n't charged it for 2 weeks and the Fenix has 41% still to go. Nice health monitors like HR and Pulse Ox. I am a Lifeguard and feel better that it is rated for deeper water than just a swim.
