I have to admit, I was skeptical to purchase the Enduro 3 due to the size of this watch but despite my fears, I went ahead and jumped ship to the Enduro 3 from the Forerunner 945. First and foremost, is this watch big, yes... It's a bit thicker and of course, the watch face is a bit larger. Do I really notice? No... and the few times I have noticed, the additional features, insane battery life, better performance tracking& awesome strap make up for it immediately. This watch is a must have if you are serious about performance tracking or endurance sports. Love it!

I love this watch. It has helped me understand my workouts, sleep, stress,& daily steps. The flashlight feature is so convenient. I have also been enjoying all the apps that you can integrate the watch with. I like garmin connect a lot and it has motivated me to get outside more! It fits great with the stock nylon strap and is comfortable. I always enjoying checking the solar intensity which helps the battery life. This is why I chose the Enduro 3 over the Fenix 8. I would rather my watch last longer than be able to speak into it, hear it,& have a brighter screen. I think the sapphire display on the enduro is amazing and I am a huge fan of garmin now!

Bought this for a 100 mile race, and was amazing!! Battery life is insane. I love the size, features, even the band! My favorite Garmin yet. Keep Moving!

I like it, but I had an issue with the strap — it made my skin itchy after a few days, so I already switched it to something else. I just wish there was a smaller version, maybe around 47mm, that ’s better suited for smaller wrists

I am an active person who wanted to grab a smartwatch with GPS abilities. The Enduro 3 was perfect for me to have all the features that I 've needed and no extras that felt unnecessary. I use it for my walks and bike commutes when I do n't want to bring my cycling computer. The use of the quality sleep was another big positive for me. This is everything that I 've wanted in a smartwatch and I would recommend it to anyone.

I recommend this for any level of outdoor enthusiasts. ... The upgrade to the brilliant, full- color AMOLED touchscreen is a game- changer. ... It's like having a personal coach on my wrist, helping me know when to exert myself and when to focus on

I have had the watch for about a year now. Another great product from Garmin!!! Love how easy it is to use. The graphics are amazing!

This watch is great, it records distance, elevation, and HR very accurately. The OLED screen is very vibrant and easy to read. I have used this watch every day for the past year and a half and do n't have any complaints. The battery life is long enough to last for multiple days recording with GPS all day without a charge. Great watch.

Definitely worth the purchase, has all the futures you need for running

I have been a dedicated Garmin user for years, and the Forerunner 965 has exceeded every one of my expectations. The upgrade to the brilliant, full- color AMOLED touchscreen is a game- changer. My training data, maps, and notifications are clearer and more vibrant than ever, allowing me to read them easily even in bright sunlight. For those concerned about using a touchscreen while running, the mix of responsive buttons and the touchscreen provides a great solution. It's like having a personal coach on my wrist, helping me know when to exert myself and when to focus on recovery. The Forerunner 965 is very light and comfortable, with 23 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. Highly recommended.

I 've been using my Instinct E for about a month and so far, so good! Its predecessor, a Forerunner 45, served me well for about five years, but it was getting difficult to charge( I think it was the contact points, but not really sure). I like the new features of the Instinct- E; each watch proves to have its own personality and virtues. Anyway, it's a good one!

BrianM
Trading up to Garmin from Apple for the back- trac feature mostly, but man does this thing have battery life. My other watch dies in 1- 2 days, but this thing will go for a month or more on a single charge, and I can charge it from my cell phone. Really impressed.

I bought this watch as a beginner runner and I am so grateful that I did. I am currently training for my first 1/2 marathon and it has been so helpful. I just wanted a basic watch that could accurately track my running and lifting workouts. My favorite feature is that it can also track treadmill running accurately.

I 've always been a fan of Fitbit but after Google bought it and changed things, I swore I would n't buy another once my current one died. I tried a Garmin once and fought it every step of the way, preferring the Fitbit app and functionality. However, I bit the bullet and went Garmin again out of principal. Things have changed a lot since the last time I tried one and I like it much better this time around. I like the `` Battery '' charging instead of Sleep Score. This one is not a touch screen, it has buttons to click and I 'm getting used to that after having a touch screen watch. The band is very feather light. Overall, I think I 'm going to like this watch.

I received this as a Christmas gift and so far, I love it. I only wished that it was the smaller 45mm version, but it is starting to be less noticeable as I wear it daily. Still learning all the features, but it really a nice item. I have even stopped wearing my Tag and put it on an autowinder.

I got this watch for Christmas and what an upgrade from my Vivoactive 4. I haven ’ t charged the battery since Christmas Day and it is 1/8 now and still has 25% left. It has all the features I need and more and it was a breeze to add to Garmin Connect. This was a great choice for me.

I upgraded to the Instinct 3 from the Standard version. The Instinct 3 currently has a better battery and enhanced functions from the standard version, that I need to investigate. I had the Epix before and it was a great sports accessory. This does all that and more. The battery life is the most noticeable immediate difference. I use this for everything, although apparently I need to sleep more and I am really out of shape... lol! This watch will work for any stats geek whilst still being popular with the weekend warrior who likes to smash out activities and track them.
5
Josephene C
I love it. I use it everyday. I charge it once a weekend but I think I could charge it once every 2 weeks which is a total upgrade from my apple watch that I had to charge every night. I don ’ t use the sleep app but there ’s so many features that I don ’ t even realize how useful it is!

From backpacking, to running, to working out, this watch does it all. Instead of asking what this watch can do, the better question is what can it NOT do. The battery life is amazing and the GPS capabilities are unmatched. The AMOLED face is super bright even in the direct sunlight. Definitely not a watch that a beginner would need, but an amazing tool for an avid explorer and athlete!
5
Ian M
I bought the Fenix 8 after a couple of less- than- optimal experiences with competitor products. After several months with the watch, I am convinced that there is not a more thoughtfully designed sports watch on the market. Everything on this watch just works, and Garmin has thought of everything. Even small details like the watch automatically ejecting water from the speaker after a watersports activity speak to the level of detail that Garmin focused on when designing this watch. The software is fast and fluid, the screen is brilliant, and the health and exercise data collected is precise and presented in a useful and palatable format. The only thing that I feel could use some improvement with the watch is that when I take a phone call from the watch, there is evidently a lot of microphone feedback, as in people talking to me through my watch hear a significant echo of everything they say. Overall, an excellent watch that I feel is well worth the higher price tag.

I radioactive the Venue 2+ with the 570 Forerunner... it's a real transition to say the least... learning curve not too bad. I really did n't need to have all the features but I had to have the call answering. It would be nice to have this on all the Garmin watches... then i would n't have had to down soooooooo much... it is however, a really great watch and good improvement on the venue 2+... the 47 size is excellent!!

As the end of my first month approaches, I wonder how I ever got by with a Garmin watch before! Went with the Forerunner 570 for the added features, and I 've been loving the daily outlooks and Garmin Coach training. I have run close to a dozen half marathons prior to deciding to upgrade my smart watch and register for my first marathon this coming October. So far the training plan it has recommended for me has been great and I also really like the race predictor feature! Great battery life as well. So far I am very impressed, and hope as I continue to use it and grow with it, that it continues to live up to my expectations!

Super light weight I forgot I was wearing it, including while sleeping! The health metrics it ’s gives me are amazing. The Garmin coach feels so personalized I feel I should be paying extra. Please don ’ t charge us extra Garmin. I ’ m just saying my thoughts. Lol.

I bought this for my wife after owning the 47mm for myself. The perfect watch for everything you could possibly imagine. It never leaves my wrist. Battery life is exceptional, with extremely fast charging. Large, vibrant and clear screen can be seen in all light conditions. Tracks everything: sleep, workouts, runs and everyday health. I reccomend this to anyone from all spectrums of fitness levels. Can be used as a great motivator as it cues you to be more active or when you need to rest.

The battery life is great on it, using this watch for all around activities but tracking your runs are great, I love that the screen is pretty much unbreakable and that the bezel doesn ’ t catch too much light causing glare. Very simple to use out the box, and recommended to set it up on the app for a quicker and easier set up. Don ’ t think about buying it. Just buy it. Did my research and the cheapest place I found it was on here.

If you want a watch that can track any activity and has a battery last for weeks look no further. This watch does it all, with accurate GPS tracking and long battery life it is perfect for my uses. I mainly use it for running and cycling and its amazing. While this has all the bells and whistles it is definetley meant for the more serious consumer. It may be too much for the beginner with the price.

Sturdy and robust design built for the hardships of everyday wear in all conditions. Great fitness tracking, gps, sleep monitoring, and the flashlight is awesome. UI is kind of weird like in most garmin products but the button interface makes it friendlier than most. Best suited for the committed adventurer and athlete. The solar display is less vibrant so watch faces can be a bit dull, the simpler face the better.

To give this review context, im coming from using a instinct 1. To upgrade to a fenix was a massive upgrade. I know A lot of people recommended switching to the Epix because it was so similar to this watch. To me it was important to have the most up- to- date user interface technology, without having to overspend on the fenix 8. The 8 is great but there were so many features i was not interested in. I had no use for them so the fenix e was perfect for me. I ’ m obsessed with it.

I ran 12 marathons in 6 years, starting at age 45.... when i first started running with a Garmin, it helped me tremendously because it `` made me slow down '' as I was able to see my real- time pace... this helped my distance...... I did some research beforehand, and this watch hit pretty much what I was looking for:- Fits a very small wrist( mine is like 5. 5 '' around)- Measures my heart rate, steps, and sleep health- Has a decent battery life... I do n't want to have to charge it every day- It's super pretty and does n't scream FITNESS WATCH lol So far people see it and it does n't even register to them that it's a fitness tracker, which I prefer. The watch face is beautiful and I like the all- metal components. The battery life surprised me-- I can go at least 4 days without charging it, and it still has like 30% battery life still in it.( YMMV as I do change the settings so that does n't drain as badly.) Lastly I really like the alarm feature; it lightly buzzes on my wrist and does n't wake anyone next to me, which is better than using my cellphone. A few downsides which I do n't care that much about: no Garmin Pay support for the coconut colored version; no GPS tracking unless you carry your phone with you; and I ca n't seem to change my display name no matter where I try( watch settings, Garmin Connect app, and or the Garmin website).

My `` Subscription '' for my ARCCOS sensors was up for renewal and the cost was$ 155, up from the$ 120 previously. The system pretty much sucks and is totally inaccurate- especially with putting. So it was decision time. Researched and wound up buying the X5. WHAT A PLEASURE! 1st- FREE SENSORS, 2nd- NO SUBSCRIPTION, 3rd- IT 'S ACCURATE!! Cost of$ 299 was well worth another bad year of golf with ARCCOS! A minor learning curve, but now am totally happy with the functionality, accuracy and price point! Do n't wait- RUN to replace your current system with the X5!

Purchased this item when I saw the upgrades the software was updating on My Golf Spy. Have only used once so far but like how it attacks which club you use for each shot and counts putts as well. Should help with stats and hopefully make club decisions

I bought this watch a few weeks ago and it works very well on the course. GPS distances were accurate and data provided was informative. Watch also has so many other features than golf. I highly recommend it as an everyday wearable.

This watch replaced by old Approach S60 which I had for many years. The battery life is fantastic and the features are very good. The enhancements to show distance to hazards is very useful. The only negative is the watch band. Once on it is very comfortable with its velcro connection. My hand barely fits through the band to take it on or off and if I pull the end of the band through the link, it is very hard to get back on with one hand. I may have to buy an aftermarket band to replace it. This was supposed to be the large/extra large model.

Finally a golf watch with the size and features I wanted. It is the right size on my wrist. It does not interfere with my golf swing. It is easy to read in sunlight without reading glasses. I can easily keep score on my watch. I thought I would want a silicone band but have come to really love the stock band. Those with a large hand might need to work at it a bit to get it over your hand. I love that you can really customize the watch face with the information you want using the ConnectIQ App. I wear it every day. It is a great looking watch. AMOLED display means it can be on all the time and still have reasonable battery life. It also works go gamify my other activities by tracking not only golf but also walking and pickleball. I am very happy with my Approach® S50.

Bought the watch( though I feel that ’s an understatement to describe this technology) less than a month ago. It ’s not a watch. This is a computer on your wrist. It has the best of both worlds IMO. It ’s great for working out however the golf tech is second to none. The gps accuracy is within feet of range finders. The adjusted yardage is on point too. Best part is the speed of play. The simple truth is that the more you use this the faster and more accurate you WILL become. The virtual caddie is based on how you hit the clubs( if you don ’ t have the sensors, though I totally recommend you do) then log your clubs after each round and soon enough you will have club stats that build your confidence. All That said love the “ watch ” and love the data.
