[ I usually do not wear shorts like this. I like my denim shorts for all occasions. However I have been trying to walk and exercise more often and the denim is uncomfortable. I love these ones specifically because they ’ re form fitting and flattering( they hide the mom pouch!) and they ’ re very comfortable. I ordered these in a medium and a small due to being unsure of what size. I can honestly fit both. I ’ m 140 pounds, athletic build, 5 ’ 4 ”- 5 ’ 5 ” tall. The smalls for more like a size 4- 6, tighter athletic look. Medium size fits with a lot looser fit, especially in the thigh& waste area( slide right up with no stretching needed in the waste). The medium would be for a person maybe size 6- 8. If I ’ m going for a loose flowy look or if you have thicker legs/thighs, I would say medium. I prefer the more fitted athletic look so smalls are more comfortable feeling for a more athletic outfit look. The small has to stretch in the waste a little for me to put on and is tighter around my thighs than the medium. Size small or athletic look( go running in or could wear at the gym or ball field) and medium for casual look( put with a solid free fly shirt for a casual outing). These are the training shorts I 've always wanted. I generally hate shorts with liners because the elastic in the leg holes is irritating and annoying. I usually opt for linerless shorts and athletic boxer briefs. These are everything in one. The benefit of these shorts is that the outer shorts are attached to the inner liner. The pockets on these shorts stays put. I have another pair of Nike running shorts and the pocket liner pokes out the bottom when I put my phone in there. So annoying. The only thing I 'd change is the advertised phone pocket in the back is much too small for my iPhone Max. Otherwise these are perfect.

Unfortunately, it's winter, so they have n't been my go- to due to weather. I 've tested them out during my limited indoor workouts, but they have n't let me down. I love the big back pocket to fit my ID and a locker key. The backside also had a dependable zipper pocket which will be useful on longer runs this spring/summer/fall. The waistband is a bit wider, which I personally really like and has a hidden drawstring if needed. I 'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and it fits comfortably under my belly because of the stretchy fabric. Looking forward to a lot more use in the coming months!
