[ Decided to upgrade my ski rack after using my off market one the last 4 years and it was such a fantastic decision. No nuts, bolts, screws, etc. Easiest piece of equipment I 've ever installed. Looks great and came at a great price. Highly recommend.

I got the racks and set them up immediately on my truck. The tightening mechanism to lock them to your racks is so easy and straightforward. Honestly the hardest part of the entire process was getting it centered on the racks( which is n't even Thule's fault). There's no noise or downside to transporting boards up on the roof. I have n't really noticed a gas mileage hit yet, and it keeps wet boards outside the car when I 'm coming back. Plus I 'm not scared to leave the board on the roof if I leave the car for a little bit to grab food or shop. The racks are secured to the roof, and the board is secured to the rack. Pretty much the only thing that could get stolen is the bindings( for a snowboard), and it would still take work. The one downside is with the locking cores themselves. When they work, they 're great, but when your hands are cold because it's 0* F outside, it can be a little frustrating to get the key in to lock/ unlock the device.

Easy to use. Very secure, solid did not hear any rattle or noise as I just drove back form Big Bear, CA to Tucson AZ. Your user guide does not tell a person how to remove the straps, or loosen them in the owners manuel to remove Snowpack from my 4 Runner. This would be helpful for first time users. Not show on your website or youtube. Please add this. Thanks

Another great Thule product! These racks are easy to install and use. I have n't used them at their maximum carry but I am happy to have the ability for future group trips. They worked great to securely get skis and a board up the mountain( bay area to tahoe regular)!

Bag is great looking. Bought at end of ski season so durability is yet to be determined- have not used it yet. Will only be using it to transport skis in my car so I suspect it will hold up fine. Not sure I would use it for airplane travel- just do n't know. My wife's 163 cm skis fit fine but doubt my 180 cm skis would fit- I did not try them.

When selecting a ski carrier, consider the type of vehicle you have, the number of skis or snowboards you need to transport, and the carrier's compatibility with your roof rack system. Additionally, look for features such as ease of installation, security mechanisms, and whether the carrier provides protection for your gear during transport.
Ski carriers are designed to fit a variety of vehicles, but compatibility depends on the type of roof rack system your vehicle has. It's important to check the specifications of the ski carrier to ensure it can be securely mounted on your vehicle's roof. Some carriers may require specific attachments or adapters for proper installation.
Ski carriers are designed with protective features that help secure your equipment and prevent damage during transport. Many carriers include padded or rubberized grips to hold skis or snowboards firmly in place, while others may have locking mechanisms to deter theft. Additionally, the aerodynamic design of some carriers can reduce wind resistance and noise.
Most ski carriers are designed to accommodate a range of ski and snowboard sizes, but it's essential to check the specifications for maximum length and width limits. Some carriers can hold multiple pairs of skis or boards, while others may be more compact. Always ensure that your gear fits securely within the carrier to prevent movement during transit.
Hard shell ski carriers offer enhanced protection against impacts and harsh weather conditions, making them ideal for long-distance travel. They typically provide better security for your equipment compared to soft shell carriers, which may be lighter and easier to store. However, soft shell carriers can be more flexible and easier to handle, so the choice depends on your specific needs and travel habits.
