My old pair of goggles always made me nervous because of the strap mechanism and plastic just felt cheap so taking any falls always worried me that I might not break them. Not these, the Axis goggles have a super solid construction from the strap, to the lens and frame as well. I have tried them with the compatible helmet as well and the fit is seamless which is so nice! Best feature by far of these goggles is that it comes with TWO lenses! One for sunny days and overcast/ night as well. This was one of the driving features that I was looking at for a goggle and this one totally fits the bill. The lens changing is also super simple and easy since it has magnets and stuff. I 've tried a few other goggles where you have to twist/ bend/ has moving parts to switch the lenses and that always made me nervous that I was going to break them. Not these! you just pull on the sides and it pops out, then line the magnets up on the new lens and make sure the corners are pushed into their housings. So simple and rad.

[ Was sick of renting crappy ski helmets. Finally bit the bullet and splurge, worth it. So comfortable, it comes with a helmet liner which is nice if it ’s cold. It was super cold so I wore a smartwool liner, it had enough room for another liner. Didn ’ t have to use the vents yet since it was super cold, so I can ’ t comment on that feature. The magnet clip is really nice, makes it much easier to buckle/unbuckle helmet with gloves on.

[ This thing looks great, is easily adjustable, nice and warm and true to size. I have a `` medium '' sized head( when wearing adjustable trucker hats I snap over 3- 4 holes) but I went with the large since I ride with a beanie about half the time. Without a beanie it is on about it's tightest setting and fits perfect. I have fallen on this thing twice both times very rough falls. I fell so hard the first time I would have had a SEVERE concussion if not wearing a helmet. No cracks or anything and the helmet handled it just fine. Back to the slopes I go!

[ There's no such thing as a safe, light, and inexpensive helmet... you ca n't have all three. So, this helmet might not be the most inexpensive but it is a name brand from a trusted retailer( I will not take my chance on other sites where they may try to pass a counterfeit), it is light and comfortable, warm, and looks good. The vents direct air to the inside of my goggles to help with preventing fog. My hand hit the dial on back which loosened the helmet only once by accident. The ratcheting system worked for me with no issues after that at all,... despite what other reviewers said. I 'd recommend it.
