So, this helmet might not be the most inexpensive but it is a name brand from a trusted retailer( I will not take my chance on other sites where they may try to pass a counterfeit), it is light and comfortable, warm, and looks good. The vents direct air to the inside of my goggles to help with preventing fog. My hand hit the dial on back which loosened the helmet only once by accident. [ I used this helmet on a recent trip to Jackson Hole. This helmet is by far the lightest and most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. The adjustable vent is a nice feature which is easy to use even while wearing gloves. You will not look like a Bobble Head wearing this helmet.

[ Was sick of renting crappy ski helmets. Finally bit the bullet and splurge, worth it. So comfortable, it comes with a helmet liner which is nice if it ’s cold. It was super cold so I wore a smartwool liner, it had enough room for another liner. Didn ’ t have to use the vents yet since it was super cold, so I can ’ t comment on that feature. The magnet clip is really nice, makes it much easier to buckle/unbuckle helmet with gloves on.

[ this is the 2nd one of these i have. the fit is better than other helmets i 've used due to the excellent adjustability. i took a hefty fall earlier this season, and banged my head pretty good. the helmet saved my butt, and took the impact like a champ. other helmets i 've used( and still have, anyone want a free helmet?), would have not performed as this one does. well worth the$$.

[ The Fit system is great and makes for a perfect feet. Super comfortable. Not sure if it's worth the extra money. But if you can afford it then it's great. The Mips component makes it really great as well. Less worries with the big hits and falls.

[ Picked this up after I finally realized my old Oakley mod 3 had a few too many bumps and bruises, and I 'm very happy I did. I have oddly sensitive ears and get pain from standard ear pads on most helmets, but the mod5 has ear cups with a hollow space inside that fit perfectly. Helmet has lots of ventilation and does not feel heavy when wearing. Kept me warm on a cold day recently, and with all these vents I 'm sure it 'll be cool in the spring.. I would buy again.

Love the fit and I 'm able to wear my head phones. There's a small zipper section in the back of the helmet to put your headphones of they are not buds, but have a wire. Very comfortable. Good air flow too.
