This lure cuts through weeds easily and is very productive. I like the light brown head with a white tail. but the black has also worked for me. depends on the conditions. black with white tail with overcast. the brown with white with sun.

[ This spinner bait caught me a bunch of musky, I really like how the blade has a nice thumping action. I did backlash and my leader snapped sending this lure off into the sunset, almost shed a tear.

Pulled some nice fish out of heavy weeds with the lure. It tends to run high so a slower retrieve usually does the trick. I have caught Walleye, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike with this lure. Only negative is paint on the head and spinner comes off easily and the ring that holds the blade on failed causing blade to come off on a cast. Used the lure for three years before that happened...

It's hard to beat Panther Martins for a variety of applications: trout in the Sierras, panfish and small bass in ponds, etc. Perhaps no other lure is quite as versatile across so many platforms. They are n't cheap, but they 're well made. They run/spin true, and the hooks are sharp. Love 'em.

After almost 50 years of fishing in PA, VA and DE, still my favorite trout and panfish lure. I 've used different colors but yellow body with a silver blade and black with a gold blade( 1/8 th oz) seem to work the best for me in creeks and ponds. I tie a tiny barrel swivel with a clip directly on to my line( 10 lbs. braid) and attach the lure to the clip. Simple lure, casts and retrieves well, good construction. Explosive hits. Fun to use.

Love using these for trout. They eat them up. Good flash.
Spinner lures for pike are fishing lures that feature a rotating blade designed to create vibrations and flash in the water. This movement attracts pike by mimicking the appearance of prey, making them an effective choice for anglers. The combination of the blade's action and the lure's body can entice pike to strike, especially in various water conditions.
Spinner lures for pike are typically made from durable materials such as metal for the blades, which provide strength and resistance to corrosion. The bodies of these lures can be constructed from plastic, rubber, or wood, each offering different buoyancy and action in the water. Additionally, some lures may incorporate natural or synthetic hair to enhance their appeal.
The best type of spinner lure for pike can vary based on fishing conditions such as water clarity, temperature, and structure. In murky water, larger blades that create more vibration may be more effective, while in clear water, smaller, more subtle lures can be beneficial. Additionally, considering the depth and speed of retrieval can help determine the most suitable spinner lure for the situation.
Choosing the right size spinner lure for pike fishing depends on several factors, including the size of the pike in the area and the type of prey they are feeding on. Generally, larger lures can attract bigger pike, while smaller lures may be more effective for smaller fish. It's also important to consider the fishing environment, as larger lures may be better suited for open water, while smaller lures can work well in tight spaces.
Spinner lures for pike fishing can be effective year-round, but certain seasons may yield better results. Spring and fall are often considered prime times, as pike are more active and feeding aggressively during these periods. Additionally, early morning and late evening can be ideal times to fish with spinner lures, as pike tend to be more active during these hours.
Effective retrieval techniques for spinner lures when targeting pike include steady, consistent retrieves as well as varying speeds to mimic the movement of prey. Anglers can also experiment with pauses and twitches to create a more erratic action that can entice pike to strike. Additionally, fishing near structures such as weeds, rocks, or drop-offs can increase the chances of attracting pike.
