Cushioning felt superb during 16+ mile long runs and feet/legs were far less sore the day after LRs until this shoe accumulated about 250 miles. The Glycerin StealthFit 22 is now my immediate go to for my daily exercise routine that includes indoor and outdoor training( walking, weight lifting and running). The fit of the shoe took me about a day to get adjusted, but was very comfortable from the beginning. I log about 15- 20 miles a week and have used the shoe for about 2 months, and it still provides plenty of support and comfort. I appreciate how easy it is to put on the shoe with the elastic around the ankle and how thick the soles are. The shoe is also made out of a very breathable fabric so my feet never feel overly warm. I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

In all honesty... I do not run... unless being chased... or the quick sprint to catch my kids. But I walk, hike, ruck,& I am brutal on my feet/shoes with a- lot of stop& go in my work. I average 6- 10 miles a day& for the first time in a while my feet did not scream at the end of 3 straight days trying these, great right out of the box( really low profile socks bunch up in the back a bit) They do work really well with my custom orthotics, clean easy, breath, do not really pick up gravel, and have great grip and balance. I tried lululemon and Hokas and both made my arches hurt immediately, I couldn ’ t finish my walk. I tried the Brooks Glycerin GTS and they were amazing. I had one of my fastest walks ever!! From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. I 'm a flat- footed monster with wide feet and if the shoe does n't fit while I 'm running, it can get extremely painful. The Pegasus always seem to deliver for me. My last pair was the Ghost 15. They were great, then one day I looked at the sizes and realized the shoe store sent me home with an 11 4E and 11. 5 2E. After that I had to retire them much to early, the store changed ownership. I now have the Glycerin GTS 22. So far so good. Took them with me to Europe. I ran with them in Florence and Rome, what a cool experience. I am new to the Brooks family, and am very pleased.

One marathon down and little over 100 miles so far. good shoe overall, I have had the novablast 3, 4s and now this 5. So far my favorite is the novablast 4s by far! Good speed light enough for the fast runs and enough cushion for the longer 10 plus miles.
