I was looking for a new shoe for my fitness walks. I ’ m a quite speedy walker( 4+ mph) and needed something to support my heel and arches. I tried lululemon and Hokas and both made my arches hurt immediately, I couldn ’ t finish my walk. I tried the Brooks Glycerin GTS and they were amazing. I had one of my fastest walks ever!! I ’ m glad I got the extra supper because my arches hurt a little as I was warming up, but the shoe supported me well and I was able to do my entire walk. The heel is also supportive without being too squishy. I don ’ t notice feeling super hot in them, but I haven ’ t worn them in the summer yet. While I ’ d love to wear these everyday, I ’ m reserving them just for exercise, so they don ’ t wear out too quickly. I ’ m normally a size 7. 5 in sneakers and I got a 7. 5 in Brooks.

I 'm a nurse with rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative discs in my lower back that deals with chronic lower leg and back pain. These shoes have changed the game for me! Love them!!! I get a lot of compliments on these shoes. I have had issues with planters fasciitis for the last year and half and cracked my ankle from falling because of it. I normally wear Ghosts and have great and love them but I got the Caldera 7 on sale so I decided to try them out. I use them daily, not just for running. I love them! I 'm not a runner but a healthcare worker in a hospital, I have a 85- 90 hr work week. These are currently my main pair that I wear for my for my 8 day shift. I 'm writing this review at the end of my second work week rotation so I could give some time to break them in. Great shoe. Been using these instead of Ghost for years now after they became bland and bouncy. The latest iteration runs well with good comfort and stability. My only gripes are the laces come undone quite often and they do run hot, so wear very thin socks.

Great balance finally returned to what I used to love in the ghost. The 14, 15 and 16's were not good for me due to toe box and forefoot issues but these new 17's hit the sweet spot with balanced heel comfort, toe off and ride. They also feel generally more stable in a good way for a neutral trainer. Thank you!

I use them for my long runs( 22km- 30km) in Zone 2. They are great and better than Hoka Clifton 9. For the speed work, I prefer Adidas Adizero Boston 12, Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3. I am thinking of trying something from ASICS for my speed runs.

Great every day running shoe. Not built for racing but absolute cruiser that will take care of your legs. The dual layer foam setup is soft but stable while being very smooth. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of roll with a perfectly placed rocker. I believe the magic is in the rocker position and grade combined with the midsole setup. I was consumed with the Nova and Superblast so I didn ’ t try the first version. Probably a good thing. I ’ m surprised by just how much I like this shoe. My all time favorite every day trainer/ long run shoe.

It has the same fit as previous versions of the Ride. It seems to have more padding, but the padding is still firm and requires some break- in time. I expect it to feel softer after 10 miles or so.

I have had the ride 17 for several months now and I LOVE these shoes! I enjoyed my previous rides( 15) but I did have several small issues with them and the ride 17s have fixed all of these issues! The ride 15s always felt a little narrow on my foot and they were hard to get on…the 17s fit wider and my foot slips into them easily! I have actually considered going down half a size but I live in an area that gets very hot in summer so decided to stick with my size 7s to allow for swollen feet! The previous 15s had very short laces and I had trouble doing double knots for race day…the 17s have lovely long laces so no need now for double knots! There is now a loop on the back of the heel which really helps with getting the shoe on! And they are. very cushioned as well as being responsive! I have been able to do faster sprint workouts( strides) which is really helping with my confidence for improving my next half marathon time! I have a spring half I am preparing for as well as a fall marathon, and although I would love to move up to a plated shoe( such as the endorphin speed 4) my budget doesn ’ t allow for another purchase right now so I will stick with the 17s.

These were a replacement for another pair of ride17 that I had worn out. I spend most of my day on my feet on concrete so cushion is important. I also under- pronate and have plantar fasciitis so it is hard to find shoes that do n't make my feet ache. I tried a different style( triumph) at the recommendation from the shoe store but my feet screamed at me by the end of a few hours. Bought these in 11. 5 wide, which is what I usually get. My feet are n't that wide, sizing worked well for me( maybe if your feet are really wide it 'll feel more snug). Shoes have good grip, feel comfortable, and have enough support for long walks. I would n't run in these personally. The shoe's tongue will crease on the top of your foot a little bit but once you break it in it's less of an issue. Happy with the simple design.

I purchased the Hyperion 2s after researching speed/ tempo based shoes and reading reviews/ recommendations. This is my first pair of Brooks and I am very happy with the purchase. The shoes are quick and promote a fast turnover and forefoot strike, which suits me well. I 'll consider buying Brooks again as I replace other shoes in my rotation.

Actually bought these for walking, they have a nice bounce to them and hug my feet better than other Asics I have( Trabuco 12), I have lower volume feet and have troubles finding a shoe my feet do not float in. I also bought the all black so they can be used for more casual wear and not look too crazy.

Great shoes for Planter fasciitis, I had the Gel Kayano shoes, but the pain was n't improving. Got the GT- 4000- 3 and the pain was less, added Dr. Shools Planter fascitis inserts and further improvement. Im seeing continued improvement the longer I 'm were the shoes. WISH THEY HAD A FEW MORE COLOR CHOICES FOR FUTURE PURCHASES.
