These are the answer for babies with wide feet! I ordered new balance in xw for my 1 year old and we can still barely squeeze his foot in. I celebrated my 250th strength workout in these and surprisingly also received the burned the most calories award so I have to believe they definitely contributed to that. I 've had these for six weeks of summer on sidewalks and woods' rutty trails where they 've been great-- perfect insulation from the ground's surface, good traction on wet and/or uneven ground, plenty roomy for my wide forefeet whether w/ socks or not, and w/ a springy stride. They are also too wide in the heel but nonetheless keep my heels from sliding around. And they 're the best clog design IMO for staying dry in light rain w/ a wide- enough umbrella. Fifteen years ago I tried every athletic shoe on the market to help with the continuous pain in my feet due to severe neuropathy. I was an RN working in a busy critical care unit for 12 hours a day. Shoes have good grip, feel comfortable, and have enough support for long walks. I would n't run in these personally. They break in pretty easy and my son has yet to complained once about them hurting his feet or getting blisters like other cleats. He wants to wear these all the time over all his other cleats( f50, lower model of mercurials etc). He got the Kylian Mbappe color( yellow). My 10 yo daughter has been playing in boots across all lines offered from another brand for the past 6 years and suffice it to say these are hands down her favorite and we won ’ t be going back. She says the sock liner is very comfortable, even more so than some laceless boots seems had, and the laces conform well to her foot without being prone to coming untied. Her feet are on the wider side and the width on the magnetico is perfect. They fit true to size and are very light weight. The majority of the studs are round and a bit short which makes them good on all surfaces, but they do tend to slip a bit on a really saturated field. The orange colorway, as Papaya as my daughter calls them, is quite nice as is the material of the upper. I see plenty more Magnetico ’s in her future.
