I put the 12'x12' sail up on mounts that were about 16'x16'. I used heavy duty bungie straps, instead of the mounting hardware that came with the sail, to see how it would look. Turns out the bungie straps worked real well and pulled the sail real tight. I think I may leave it that way. I am really very happy with this product.

It was simple to put up; kept the mosquitos away and withstood a severe thunder storm!! We had to straighten it after the storm but it survived, other canopies and screen houses around us did not! It was also easy to disassemble and it fit in the carry case just fine. For the price, I am very happy with this purchase!

You 'll want to make sure you have stakes or something to weigh it down with once you are set up. There's a back window that can be opened for more ventilation throughout the tent. Sand easily falls right off of the slinky nylon- like material. There was a bit of a learning curve to get it closed, but once you watch their YouTube video it really helps you get it down. Comes with storage bag and takes up barely any space in your trunk. Myself, my husband and my two kids( 7, 10) were all able to comfortably fit inside the tent together.
