Bought it last month and used it a couple of times. Has n't rained yet but it was great blocking the wind and it was quick enough to set it up that I pulled it out just to provide some shade for the kids at a BBQ.

I purchased this as a gift for my son in law. When he saw it, he was one happy camper! He and his entire family( wife& 2 teens) camp with hammocks now rather than bulky tents and sleep better.

The perfect compliment to the ENO Double Nest hammock. Only weighs around 20 ounces but ENO also makes a silicon impregnated ultra light ProFly Sil for the ounce counters. ENO for life!

[ This can be used for so many different things! I bought one after using my friend ’s as a sun shade on a beach outing, and now I ’ ve used it as a tarp for sleeping in my hammock and as a poor- man ’s bimini on my sailboat( draped over the boom to create shade). It can do anything! Super strong seams and stitching, no concern using it in a little bit of wind.

[ I just purchased this in the 9x9. Have used the 12x12 and the 16x16 for a number of years. They ’ ve changed the color a couple of time but features are unchanged in the time I ’ ve been using them. Square shape is only way to go. Kudos for configuring this way. So many tarps are rectangular. For a haystack, sure. Fine. For a shelter, the square has far more setup options. There ’s heavy tieouts on the four corners and lighter ones along the edges. Well spaced. A little stretch to keep it taught.. important in rain. I don ’ t know if they market this as a rain shelter but that ’s all I use it for. The big one if camping next to a car, the 12x12 for rafting. This 9x9 for backpacking. Two lbs may seem like quit a bit to pack for a tarp but covered area is pretty great. And large enough to configure in some version of a ‘ storm ’ mode if conditions warrant. I have a HMG DCF tarp. It ’s 8. 5x8. 5 with no stretch. Definitely harder to get a taught pitch. It ’s light as a feather but that extra half foot per side is more than it sounds on this Kelly. 12% more covered area even though only 6% more length.. ya know if you get all STEM about it... I won ’ t go into costs per square foot between the two and it ’s not even really a fair comparison given the different materials used but if your not into packing a piece of square fabric that costs as much as a pair of skis, this is one of the best values out there right now.

[ The 9 ’ tarp is still pretty big and a great size for a standard camp site or small group. Lots of points for attaching clips and guy lines. Fairly light but not super light. Comes with its own carrying bag that it fits into easily.

I had my day pack on and the extra length was wonderful. ... I had great ventilation while I hiked. ... It also kept the backpack dry in down pours! ... I do n't know that I will ever use the tarp function, but I like that this poncho has eyelets for use as a temporary

[ Recently used my tarp poncho on a 4 day backpacking trip with 48 hours of straight rain. Stayed dry and loved I could wear as a poncho or hang as a tarp to sit under. Lightweight but strong.

Have used this for weather protection in day hikes( 2- 4/ month), weekend( 1/month)& week long backpacking trips( 1- 4 /year) in the SW Arizona desert areas. Excellent for monsoons with day packs( 30L)& backpack( 91L). Works well for rainwater collection. Useful for shade in the desert with one or two trekking poles. Currently have used the lime colored for 5 years without any repairs for failures.

easy, great coverage with or without a pack, simple to adjust and ridiculously small

This thing is awesome! I was debating between this and the heavier version by Sea to Summit, but I 'm glad I got this version as it is incredibly tiny when in it's sack and lightweight. Definitely worth the extra cost! It takes the place of a backpack cover, rain jacket, tarp, and( potentially) rain pants in your pack, while being smaller and lighter than any of those items by themselves! The stuff sack is small( which can be a positive when considering the amount of room you save in your pack) however I was, with some effort, able to get it back in effectively after removing it for use. I am excited to continue to put this thing to the test here in the PNW where rains are, at times, incessant. I do find myself wondering if further enhancement of design could enable better protection from rain for the arms, however I understand that this is a tarp/ poncho combo, so it would be a challenge that would likely drive up price a bit as well and would add material in random places when being used as a tarp. Thanks for the awesome product Sea to Summit!

Simple, light, effective ... Should help to extend the life of the rope, and a nice convenient way to bundle it quickly for transport. ... Perfect size for a 60 or 70m

CamWY
[ Great tarp. Folds up really small for travel, or you can roll up your rope and some gear inside if it ’s easier. No straps to keep it together though, a bungee or cam strap would be great for that. Durable material. Perfect size for a 60 or 70m rope.

We bought this product to fix a few small holes made in our pop- up camper by a pesky mouse. Patched the areas and in just over 24 hours when a major rain storm came through not a drop of water came through the areas patched! Will definitely keep some of this on hand and we 've already ordered the fabric version! Great product!

[ I finally splurged and got myself a rope bag, and I 'm sure glad that I did! The Petzl Kliff pack is solid and has some really smart design features. I only wish it had some side pockets for holding water bottles or snacks... but otherwise it's well worth the purchase.

[ I just got into lead climbing( mainly indoors) and this pack is sweet! You can fit all your gear including shoes, harness, belay device, tape/clippers. If you are planning on climbing outdoors more, there isn ’ t enough room to fit a helmet, so just keep that in mind! Overall awesome quality and it looks slick!

Tear resistant tarps are designed to withstand harsh conditions, making them ideal for outdoor use. They provide enhanced durability against rips and tears, ensuring they last longer than standard tarps. This makes them suitable for a variety of applications, such as covering equipment, protecting cargo, or creating temporary shelters.
Tear resistant tarps are typically made from high-strength materials such as nylon, polyester, or polyethylene. These materials are engineered to provide superior resistance to tearing and abrasion, making them suitable for rugged environments. Additionally, some tarps may feature reinforced edges or coatings for added durability and weather resistance.
Tear resistant tarps are ideal for a range of situations, including camping, construction sites, and outdoor events. They can be used to cover vehicles, protect equipment from the elements, or create makeshift shelters. Their durability makes them a reliable choice for both recreational and professional applications.
Choosing the right size of tear resistant tarp depends on the specific application and the area you need to cover. Measure the dimensions of the space or item you want to protect, and consider any additional coverage for securing the tarp. It's often better to select a slightly larger tarp to ensure complete coverage and protection.
Many tear resistant tarps are designed to be water-resistant or waterproof, depending on the materials and coatings used. This feature is essential for protecting items from rain and moisture. When selecting a tarp, check the product specifications to confirm its water resistance and suitability for your intended use.
