Been using these shoes for triple jump for months now. They work well for me, I got a half size up and they fit great. The only thing I had an issue with was the heel area, the shoe feels very hard in the back and digs into the back of your ankle/heel and is pretty painful( maybe that is only an issue for me) but I do n't wear them very long so it works out ok.

Did a plyometric session in these and they were great. Very cushioned and the carbon plate in the shoe gives good feedback. Kept my foot stable and secured. Bounding felt great in these. I have not competed in them yet, so we will see. I 'm usually a size 10. 5 but ordered an 11 because they do run small. The 11 was fine for me so I would n't worry about ordering a size up.

As a high school triple jumper I can say that this is the best triple jump spike on the market. I have tried other options and I can confidently say that if you do not have these spike you are at a major disadvantage in a competition. I have had 3 pairs and all of them are still in perfect condition to jump after 2 years I would recommend that you go a minimum half a size up if you would like them to fit snug. other than that I have no complaints about the fit. The cushion on the heel is in my option the best part about the shoe. It allows to be able to absorb the impact that face on the second phase of your jump while not taking away from that power that you can create on your first and last phase. The bottom plate of the shoe works exactly how you would want while performing your jump. the flat heal and aggressive toe design allow you to get the desired heel to toe movement that is so crucial in the triple jump. The carbon plate is very strong and helps create power in the third phase of the jump. In the next generation of the spike I would like to see firm feel of the toe much like the Adidas sp2 so that you can maximize the total push of that you are able to get in you last phase to drive you into the pit even farther.

These were my first pair of throwing shoes and they lasted for a while!! They are a great shoe for beginners since they aren ’ t too slick yet still enough where you can get a good rotation. I am a rotational shot putter and discus thrower in high school so I have definitely been doing lots of rotation. I recently got new shoes since my SDs wore out a bit and switched to a different brand, but I can confidently say that the SDs helped me feel more connected with the ground and I could really feel the ground as I was rotating.

Got these for my ultra marathon( 100k) worked really well, only ended up with 71 blisters on each foot and a ripped open midsole instead of the usual 134 and a completely dissolved midsole in my usual Nike rivals. These spikes were perfect for my son!! He is a size 14 in men and it is usually very difficult finding anything that fits him without going to an outlet. He is new to track and field and we thought we were all prepared until he came home saying he needed spikes. Of all things, I could n't believe we did n't think of that.... I mean duh lol! Immediately I went online, honestly I had very little faith that I would find anything. Literally immediately after typing Dick's came up WITH his size in stock AND the spikes were super fly( my son's word). Initially I got the size 15 because I thought that his normal size 14 would be narrow and tight on his wide flat feet. Nope- the 15 was too big. His coach told us that spikes have to be your size or fitted. So we got his normal size 14 and it's a perfect fit. They attend narrow nor do they hurt his feet. He wears them with socks and they 're perfect. He's also worn them without socks and we 're fine. He says the spikes feels funny when walking but that is ONLY because this is his first time wearing spikes, ever. Also they were delivered the next day for free and I ordered them after 5: 30 in the evening. I will shop at Dick's more often. Even customer service was great when I called to ask about the return policy for the size 15. They were not only on sale, but they came with the carry bag and the spikes and the spike tool( IDK what it's called). I love them! I needed to replace my war- torn gym shoes and these are perfect. I was nervous reading the reviews that they 'd be too small or uncomfortable. I think the difference in the way some of the styles are made could be the problem. The material and color combination I got was n't an issue at all. I got my normal sneaker size and I 'm so glad I did. If you wear thick socks go up half a size, thin socks, buy your regular size.

I bought this a month ago when I saw they were getting rid of them for the Fenix 8's. I had done a product comparison on the site before, and the only thing the 8 had the 7 did n't was an AMOLED screen, and slightly better waterproof rating for the new dive features. That was it. Not enough for me to want the 8 over the 7, or justify the large price difference. Beyond that, this is a huge upgrade for me from my fitbit. I wanted a watch that would be durable and have a longer lasting battery than the Apple or Google watches. I loved it could have increased accurate GPS coverage and maps for when I go hiking. My sister has the Apple and her battery not only dies before a long hike is over, but the GPS is n't as accurate. The health metrics seem to be in depth compared to the fitbit, and I like seeing my training status and load efficiency. I tested this battery last week. Any time you start a GPS related activity it zaps the battery more. I was also out in full sun often so this helped. I was able to log a hike+ 3 short kayaking sessions on one charge, and it lasted 11 days before needing a charge.( I did not have any smart phone notifications turned on) If you 're looking for a watch that's geared more towards those who are into outdoor recreation for their exercise, and has the rugged durability to survive these activities, this watch is for you. If you need just a smart watch for time, emails, and what not this watch might be overkill for what you 're looking for.

This has been the best fitness watch I 've owned. I used to be a Fitbit person, but since switching to Garmin, I 'll never go back. The solar charging feature with this particular model is advantageous for outdoor users. There are many features with this watch that might be more geared towards experts, but anyone can benefit from it. It gives more detailed info on your workouts and the GPS seems to be more accurate as well. I am glad that I upgraded although I kind of had to as after I fixed my old watch( cleaned the buttons as one of them was sticking), water vapor started to creep in and I broke the LED screen when trying to separate it from the watch face due to the vacuum effect from the water vapor. The Garmin 965 is the perfect watch for those who want to get into any activity, indoors or outdoors, but who does n't want the full suite of features the Fenix series offers. [ Bought this last month. First of, MJ was great in replacing the first unit I received, which had clearly been used( likely prior buyer had returned it after wearing it). The unit I received as replacement has been phenomenal. Very user- friendly, awesome battery life, and what is impressing me so far is that Coros is very actively improving its features. Just this week they started rolling out turn- by turn navigation. While music functionality is somewhat limited right now( only storage of MP3s on the watch itself I have no doubt this will keep getting better as well. But even if not this watch will serve me very well for running, cycling, swimming, indoor rowing, and many other things for years to come.

[ i did my homework before i bought the Coros Apex 2 watch, so i thought i knew what to expect when it arrived a few weeks ago. i expected the battery life to be longer than most watches that this compares to. i expected that the Apex 2 would have all the features i needed as an avid mountain biker. this watch is more than that. the watch is lighter and more compact than i thought it would be. i am not sure how they are able to provide the functions and battery life in a smaller lighter package. i definitely have no regrets with this watch and i look forward to all the adventures that i will take it on with me.
