Highly recommend this product for anyone interested. The mask does not fog up at all and I tend to sweat a lot when playing hockey. Well worth the money. Make sure it is compatible with your helmet first. It is very easy to install, only a few screws.

First night going from the visor to the bubble shield> puck to the shield. Holds up! The only downside is that it fogs before the second period. I think if you put it on a Bauer helmet it will fit better and allow air to flow out easier. I have this on a CCM helmet so it hangs a little lower and my breathing hits the shield vs the openings at the bottom. Overall- great fit and very protective. Bring a towel on the bench and you ’ ll be fine.

I ’ ve used this for a few games and I love it. It only fogs when I breath on it and am sitting on the bench taking a break. As soon as I ’ m skating on the ice again it clears right up! This also changed my view and I never realized it was so clear with out the bars! I love it

My son prefers this over his cage face mask because of the increased visibility. In the few weeks that he's had the shield, it has held up great. He stores his helmet( Bauer IMS 5. 0 small) in the bag that came with the shield to prevent scratches from his other equipment in his gear bag. We also initially treated it with an anti- fog spray and have had no issues with fog.

When selecting a visor for a hockey helmet, it's important to consider factors such as visibility, material, and compatibility with your helmet. Look for visors that provide clear optics and are made from durable materials to withstand impacts. Additionally, ensure that the visor fits securely with your specific helmet model to ensure safety and comfort during play.
Yes, there are various types of visors available for hockey helmets, including full shields and straight visors. Full shields offer complete facial protection and are ideal for players looking for maximum coverage, while straight visors provide a balance of visibility and protection. The choice between them often depends on personal preference and the level of protection desired.
The material of a hockey helmet visor plays a crucial role in its performance, impacting clarity, durability, and scratch resistance. Polycarbonate is a common choice due to its lightweight nature and high impact resistance, while some visors may feature anti-fog coatings to enhance visibility during play. Choosing a visor with the right material can significantly enhance your on-ice experience.
Visors for hockey helmets are designed to perform well in various weather conditions, but their effectiveness can vary. For instance, some visors may fog up in humid conditions, while others are treated to minimize this issue. It's essential to consider the environmental conditions you'll be playing in and choose a visor that offers features suited for those conditions.
Using a visor on a hockey helmet provides several benefits, including enhanced visibility and facial protection. It helps shield the eyes from flying pucks and sticks while allowing players to maintain a clear line of sight. Additionally, visors can help reduce glare from bright lights, improving overall performance on the ice.
