If you get the fit right, they do n't pull your socks down when you walk. Very good for walking unlink the tradition tall boots. A little heavy. But after about a 70hrs work week in them, I had gotten used to them and couldn ’ t even tell. They are comfortable they keep water out and my feet dry, I tied the laces once when I got them and have been able to easily slip them on and off which I like. as long as they last at least a year I would purchase them again.
