I got my first stove in the early 2000 and still use it to this day

I use the whisperlite in winter for its reliability. Perfect for melting snow with a 2L pot. In summer and fall I prefer the ease of use of a canister stove with the pocket rocket.

Great product. Tried and true design. Reliable and easy to operate and maintain. Bacon on the beach for breakfast. Does it get any better?

After a January camping trip in NH, where temps dropped to 5 deg. F, and I could n't get my MSR Pocketrocket to work, I purchased this lifesaver. Used it in February, again in NH, and will forever more carry my WhisperLite in the deep winter.

Tried and true, it's obvious why the whisperlite remains the top expedition stove. Although it's quite different than the canister stoves, it was very easy to learn and get used to. Boiled a liter of water relatively quickly below freezing temps. Very excited to continue using the stove throughout the winter. I definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys winter fun like I do.

[ I was very pleased when receiving this stove. Nice small size for car camping, fired up very easily. Im not a fan of the igniter on any product, I always carry a lighter. But this one worked good. The only down fall are the hinges. They seem loose and kinda cheap. All in all I love this stove and plan to use it a lot this summer.

Great bit of kit to add to your arsenal. It is compact enough to throw in a pack and large enough to make a good feed.

Took a minute to figure out for the first use, but it ’s great. I had a Coleman 2 burner previously, and this is a great stove that takes up half the space.

I have an overland sprinter van so this is nice when I want to cook with fire outside instead of the induction cooktop in the van. Everything store quick and easy in its own carrying case. The little propane bottles last quite a long time when using this. Not a huge fan of the lid for the pan but also don ’ t really use it at all for it to be an issue. Great little stove.

[ I recently purchased this product to carry in my pickup as a basecamp. It is compact and the ease of use is amazing. I greatly appreciate the ability to control the flame from quick boil to simmer. My old trustworthy cast iron pan works well with the ability to regulate the heat. Its pricey but you get what you pay for and I 'm looking forward to years of use and convenience. Ps my buddies are equally impressed.

[ So far really great little fire pit. The first time I used it there was a lot of black smoke but that dissipated, maybe something that ’s burned off from manufacturing? After 20 mins it was fine. Puts off a lot of heat and cleans up easy.

It's what I was wanting- from a functioning simmer up to full boil. ... I never use those little disposable bottles, so I also ordered the Mountain Series Hose& Regulator( model MS40- 6R) which allows you to connect directly to a full size tank, eliminating that annoying metal elbow

Trip Leader
I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.

We have used this stove for years and it's awesome. The power it has boils water in a very short time and it's pretty quiet.

Bought this because couldn ’ t get any stove fuel for my 45 year old Coleman and was on day- 1 before hurricane helene. Worked like a champ, easy to set up, burns clean. The bottle set up is a little weird, but overall love this stove. We worked it hard for 11 days straight.

A fine camp stove, quick lighting and powerful burners at 20, 000 BTUs each. For comparison, the largest burner on a home gas stove is usually 20, 000 BTUs. Folds up nicely and works flawlessly. A solid purchase.
