I wear them on longhaul flights( change out my shoes once we are in the air) and it's easy to wipe down the soles after they touch the lav floors before wearing them at gueshouses, hostels, and in other peoples homes. [ I was already a huge Olukai fan so I was not surprised that these were amazing. Olukai always provides so much comfort and arch support. The shoes are incredibly comfortable and look amazing. LOVE them and highly recommend! Something to note on the size. Typically with Olukai sandals I wear a larger size, around 9. 5- 10, but for their shoes I wear smaller( 8. 5). Just fyi for some!
