The shoes feel snug and protective over my feet and my lateral movement feels stable. I love that the shoe lace is protected with the clip on strap on the top of the shoes. The reason for 4 stars was with this shoes being a `` Hard court tennis shoes '', the shoe soles are definitely hard so if you are not used to the hard surfaced shoes, it could feel uncomfortable if you wear it all day on the court. Great stability and control. Of all of the current Nike tennis shoes for women, these are the ones that find the balance of stability without being too heavy or clunky. The GP Challenge Pro is the best shoes for anyone playing hardcourt 3+/week. For me, the Zooms are too flexible- there are n't any brakes when you sprint and change direction on hardcourt in the Zooms. Plus the sole of the Zoom wears out too quickly, I replaced them every two months because the tread was gone. The Zooms triggered plantar fasciitis when I wore them because my feet were working too hard in the loose, flexible shoe. A competitor of mine broke her foot the first time she wore the Zooms. First short ball she sprinted from the baseline and broke her foot. No stability. The Osaka's are CUTE but are far too heavy and not breathable enough for a long singles match. Enter the GP Challenge Pro. The upper has reinforcement at the midsole to keep you locked in. It prevents you from sliding through the toe when you are sweaty and chasing short balls. The tread is hearty and holds up with frequent hardcourt use- I am replacing mine every 6 months which is typical if not a little longer than usual. And the sole has an athletic contour with little give that makes the shoe very responsive. They are such a good shoe that you never have to think about them. My only gripe about them is the CHEAP insole. It is so laughably bad it ruins the shoe. I end up using the Sof Sole athletic gel insole. It is easier on the joints and prevents blisters and bunching than the sole provided. With the replacement insole it is a 5 star shoe.

I own seven pairs of pickleball shoes( yes, obsessed), and these are the best. I have K- Swiss( 3 pairs), Skechers, Cypher, and Diadem. These are the most comfortable of them all and offer the best support. They 're also cute and roomy. My kids bought them for me for Christmas, and they 're still in great shape, but I just bought another pair for when they wear out( the price is great! and is less than half of some of my other PB shoes). These court shoes run narrow, I do not have narrow feet. I needed them for a tournament and had no time to exchange for wide, so I decided to wear them anyway and deal with them being tighter than optimal. They were comfortable anyway. I chose thin socks and have worn them to play pickle ball twice without a problem. I love how the look too. If I were to order them again, I would probably order the wide so I could wear my normal socks, but I think once they are really broken in, they will be fine.

These are very good, reliable shoes. My feet feel protected on impact with the ground in my stride for walking, but I wear these generally for playing tennis. I do still play tennis and I feel these are the best shoes for the game. I usually recommend these shoes, when asked for recommendations for the best tennis court shoe. I can move around the court quickly and efficiently, up or down the court or side to side. My feet feel supported. This is, perhaps, my 5th or 6th pair of ASICS.
