I am so impressed with this shoe. I absolutely am a full on vapor guy but as much as I don ’ t want to say this, I would actually play with this over the current line up. They feel so one on one, comfortable, speedy and more like a vapor. Only things that aren ’ t so vapor is the boxy shape and elevated surface. This shoe has been amazing! With my old Vapor 9. 5's, which were totally beat down after several years, I was feeling seriously abused after every match. These shoes are so much more padded and just as stable. I do n't know if I 'm crazy but I honestly feel better after playing with these shoes on. While the Vapor 9. 5's do feel lighter and faster I feel like my steps are bigger and stronger with the GP Challenge 1. End result, I think I am faster with these shoes on than with the old 9. 5's. If you 're a bigger player in the 6' 1 '' and taller range you 'll appreciate this shoe I think. I thought I was more of a size 12 in Nike but in this shoe I went with a 12. 5 after trying on some shoes at a local store. In pretty much any other shoe I wear a 12 but in this 12. 5 is definitely the correct fit.

I have had many of the NIKE tennis and basketball shoes that I use for pickleball. These by far are the most comfortable. They are lightweight. They look great. They have a nice wide toebox. I took out the insoles it came with and put in my aftermarket insoles. GREAT SHOE!

Please, Nike product team, if you ’ re reading this. Make this shoe into a BASKETBALL shoe. I ’ ve written this review 3 times but it hasn ’ t shown up- apologies if this is redundant… Great lateral stability but below average energy return when bouncing, sprinting, jumping, etc. all this shoe needs is a full length zoomx midsole or a combination of zoomx and zoom heel/toe pads, softer outsole and a reinforced padded tongue. If done, Nike would have a premier basketball shoe that would rival the GT and Nike signature lines.
