here's how much i love these boots. for the last 2 decades they have been on a constant rotation: oldest to still- in- the- box. as the oldest worn- out pair rotate out into the garbage( after years), the next pair moves to oldest slot for really dirty work, and i open the box for the newest pair for general wear. as soon as that box is opened, i order the next box. so, i always have a ratty pair, a semi ratty pair, a new pair, and a boxed pair. they are everyday wear, work& non- work, on& off the motorcycle. highly recommend, obviously.

These are very comfortable, dry and warm. I have had these boots since 2001 and they are still holding up. I worked commercial construction and these have held up to walking and climbing up and down all day. Will wash them down and then apply mink oil paste to the leather. I almost exclusively wear 8 ”- 10 ” work boots; it drives my wife nuts. I own many different brands and try to keep with US made products. This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. Boot is very stable and have great traction and grip. I do wear other brands too, but this boot seems to be one of my go to, for sure. Georgia Boot knocked it out of the park with this one. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

Because in retrospect, they are the best boot I have ever worn. I have done EVERYTHING in them. Camping, hiking, yard work, home remodeling, etc. Rain, sun, snow, it has not mattered. The wide fit is excellent. I even have enough space to spread my toes or wear toe spacers. These are the most comfortable lightest most durable work boots I 've ever owned. I 've tried Red Wing, Timberland, Wolverine... these boots are the only ones that hold up to the daily beating that I give them. I love how durable they are and how easy they are to clean. I only have 2 small complaints, but being the best boots I 've ever owned... Carhartt will still get a 5 star review. 1. The laces need replaced after roughly 3- 6 months of use because they get shredded under the duress of tying and tightening your laces daily. 2. Being waterproof comes in handy often, especially when working outside. But it does mean that if you have sweaty feet, it keeps the sweat in too. Not quite as `` breathable '' as I would want. But like I said, I 've never found a boot to do a better job. So it is what it is.

I have been wearing this make Georgia boot since I was a little, I am 22 now, I work in the labor industry as a welder. This is the best most comfortable and very hardy boot. They are high quality leather, although they are comfortable out of the box, they do get more and more comfortable as you wear them. I am on my feet all day everyday so I put some Dr. Scholl ’s insoles in them to make them that much better.( I also have flat feet) One pair last me about 3- 4 years. And that is wearing them literally almost 365 days a year. As a welder I tend to not like laces and these boots are perfect for a welder except if you are needed steel toe. Overall, I owe Georgia boot this review and I am very happy to leave a great review. I ’ ve put these boots through hell, and they withstand anything you throw at them. I mainly bought this boot because it can be resoled and the reviews on Georgia boot were very positive. This is the first time I have bought Georgia boot. I have usually bought Ariat, Wolverine, Red Wings and Tony Lama. I am tired of buying good boots only to find out they are trash after the soles are worn off or the glue separating. These boots( Georgia Giant Wellingtons) can be resoled by a cobbler and should last a lifetime with proper care. After throwing away two pair of RedWing Boots because the soles are separating because they are glued and can not be resoled, I am now a Georgia Boot customer.

I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. These boots are amazing! I ’ m used to buying boots from the big box stores and they are stiff, uncomfortable, and seem to dry out fairly quickly. My Chore Cool boots are anything but that! These are the first pair of boots I ’ ve been able to comfortably walk in, even without socks. Always wore long socks to buffer my ankles, but these are comfortable enough to wear barefoot! We have 3 acres and I ’ d rather wear these than any other of my other shoes…even when the grass is cut and there ’s no need!!

So far, I 've used them for outdoor walking in the rain, during summer and they 're great. The tall hight makes sure water and mud do n't splash in. They decently cushion my feet for long walks. Not gon na ruin a marathon in them, but that's not what they were designed for either. They do exactly what I got them for and do it well.

[ The Danner Acadia runs a little narrow on the sides, but it is overall a great boot. This is my second pair and I use them for work as a camera operator... I got switched on to them when I was documenting law enforcement on various tv shows. The boot is polishable and you can resole it. Keeps your feet dry and warm in a temperate climate, but also wo n't overheat your feet in the summer. Solid bang for the buck!
