I work in a steel warehouse for a ten hours a day and comfort is a must for me. The first day I wore here boots for my full shift without problems and these boots felt like they had been worked in for months before. The wide fit is excellent. I even have enough space to spread my toes or wear toe spacers. Super comfortable, they feel pretty durable and they look nice, already got several compliments and I 've only had them for two weeks. I wish the laces were thicker and softer but it's not really a problem. The only place I feel a little discomfort is around the ankle but I assume as I break them in I wo n't notice the ankle cuff anymore. These are the most comfortable lightest most durable work boots I 've ever owned. I 've tried Red Wing, Timberland, Wolverine... these boots are the only ones that hold up to the daily beating that I give them. I love how durable they are and how easy they are to clean. I only have 2 small complaints, but being the best boots I 've ever owned... Carhartt will still get a 5 star review. 1. The laces need replaced after roughly 3- 6 months of use because they get shredded under the duress of tying and tightening your laces daily. 2. Being waterproof comes in handy often, especially when working outside. But it does mean that if you have sweaty feet, it keeps the sweat in too. Not quite as `` breathable '' as I would want. But like I said, I 've never found a boot to do a better job. So it is what it is.

I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... These are very comfortable boots.. They fit and feel like sneakers but have great ankle support. I do busway work for power plants, which requires a lot of climbing and crawling and these boots have held up very well over the past three jobs( total of almost six 70- ish hour work weeks) so far with no signs of degradation.
