I really like these so far but, I wish they were offered in a different color. I get made fun of quite regularly for wearing them. I normally wear a size 12 and ordered a size 11. The insole could be improved a little as well as my feet get tired after wearing them for 9 or more hours a day.

I bought my xtra tuff boots a few years ago for kayaking and then we moved and now have chickens and a creek. My boots have held up inside and out and are still waterproof. I wear them outside every day in the woods and doing chores to protect from ticks, keep mud on one set of shoes, mowing, protect from water and all my outdoor activities. They have performed so well that I got a pair for my husband for Father ’s Day and his fit perfectly. We ’ ve both added arch support insoles and he ’s been enjoying his for yard work too. It ’s great that there are no laces that need cleaned up and being able to fold the boots down is fun. The height is good for when we do need to get in water. They used to be XtraTuf. Everybody called them Alaska sneakers because everywhere you go, somebody is wearing tufs. The quality went downhill a little bit after they stopped manufacturing them in the USA but overall they '' re still a decent boot. I 've had the composite toe and the regular 15 '' legacy boots for over a decade, the 're more comfortable than a muck boot in my opinion and better for working on boats than most other rubber boots. As a fishing guide I always have a pair with me, it's always raining in Alaska.

Very easy to slip on and secure once on your foot. This can be difficult to achieve with a slip- on boot, but these nail it. The rubber material is completely waterproof, and the bottom tread is excellent on icy surfaces. If you live in a cold, coastal area( Maine, Alaska, Nova Scotia, etc) these will be a lifesaver in the winter months. I work in tunneling and mining and constantly an in my steel toe Xtratufs. This has happened more than once I 've put one of my deck boots on, got distracted, and almost walked out with the two different boots on. They are so comfortable and so easy to slip on, especially after a long hard day playing in the mud. 10/10 would recommend and definitely want one in every color.

I got these boots as a gift and they are certainly the best! I am a typical size 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. I did add some extra support for my bad feet, but they are comfortable on their own. I wore them everyday for 5+ hours at a horse farm, mucking out, and stepping in things most certain to ruin them. These had hard use and never cracked or got a hole where a lot of rubber boots do near the toes. The color stayed bright and were easy to clean after a day in mud. I love the ankle height so your legs are n't sweating like taller boots. Honestly the perfect boots, will definitely buy again or will buy another pair for just rainy days and not for stinky farm work!

Big fan of the deck boot for paddling/portaging but lacks support for walking and hiking for prolonged amount of time. The sport covers these faults and makes it feel very comfortable and running shoe like. Not to mention they look slick and not many people have them which makes it a unique look here in Ontario…we will see how long that lasts.
