The Zegama 2 has so far been a great shoe. My search for a shoe like this began when my Pegasus 4 GTX's finally hit the retirement cycle of shoes. The Pegasus 4 GTX's were some of the( if not the top) most comfortable shoes that I had ever had while also being capable of light outdoor activities. My instinct was to replace them with the Pegasus 5 GTX's. After exchanging sizes several times, I finally just return the 5's. They were just too tight, did n't fit right, and created a lot of foot pain. I decided to try the Zegama 2's. I actually had my eye on them during my transition from the Pegasus 4's!. These things remind me of the o'so comfortable Pegasus 4 GTX's. The Zegama 2's offer great bounce, support, and comfort! The grip is incredible too, it simply rocks. I play a lot of disc golf and these things have held true in any condition that I 've been in, wet, dry, muddy, slippery, you name it. Also, running any sort of distance in these feels great. They provide great bounce and support. I have n't ran a particularly long distance in them, maybe around 4 miles so far, which felt great and natural. I would n't second guess doubling that mileage or more. Overall these are great. Do n't think twice, grab a pair!.

Got these for my ultra marathon( 100k) worked really well, only ended up with 71 blisters on each foot and a ripped open midsole instead of the usual 134 and a completely dissolved midsole in my usual Nike rivals. Dug into every terrain perfectly, grass mud, road, sand, gravel, everything perfectly. Would not recommend for anything under a half marathon. Other than that wonderful shoe and I won the race. I recently used these shoes at the Big Sur International Marathon. This course has it all it rained the majority of the race, so I had wet roads, a lot of big up and down hills, and also a long section of the road where the road angled off steeply to one side. I have been a VF3 runner the past season. These shoes were even better the VF4s will be my go- to marathon race shoe for the rest of the season!

The Invincible 3 Zoom X foam gives your feet the comfort as if you ’ re walking on CLOUDS. I do16 hr shifts at the hospital& with these shoes my feet, knees, and thighs literally feel like they have a bounce with each step with minimum stress on your legs. The Zoom X foam feel just as comfortable when running in them however the foam is sensitive so try to avoid hitting curves or running in areas where the foam may be prone to getting traction or hit because the damage will show. From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. I 'm a flat- footed monster with wide feet and if the shoe does n't fit while I 'm running, it can get extremely painful. The Pegasus always seem to deliver for me. Neutral running shoes work the best for my flat feet and I 'm so happy with my purchase. I look forward to using this bad boy as my daily. I 'm 5' 1 '', and wear a 6. 5 in womens running shoes. Size up half a size for wide footed monsters.

Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

Never ever had a problem with the alpha fly. I ’ ve worn them for the last 3 years or so and love them. I have a really bad knee but I honestly don ’ t suffer with it when wearing the alpha flys because of the cushion acts as a shock absorber. Love them and all the colours

Well. I bought 4 pairs. These are everything I was hoping for. Essentially a springy, barefoot run with great energy return. All have worn well unless I try to take them off without undoing the laces, or scrape them on concrete. I wear mine daily. I have narrow feet with exceptionally high arches. As for this model compared to the Alphafly 2 and original…they improved them tremendously. They are snug without pressure, better foam profile, and the lacing system doesn ’ t untie easily.
