[ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

We use them for hunting, playing in the snow or anytime we have to be outside for long periods of time in the cold. When I go hunting and it's super cold or wind chill of- 15. I wear mine, my husband's and my under armour sweat pants under my hunting bibs. No need for a heater at all. My son told me he needed some bigger under layers so I automatically ordered him this set. He is going to be so excited when he gets the Christmas morning. If you have multiple children you definitely need to get these. They are such a good quality and will last for years if they are taken care of. The adults sizes are pretty unisex in the bottoms. The woman's top seems to be a little more fitted for the breast.

This is by far my favorite leggings. I was a fan of that Canadian athletic brand for a long time, and this leggings beats all their leggings in every way! I have 3 colors now and thinking getting the red color. It is just right amount of compression for me. Tight, but still comfortable. I love the fact there is NO seam in the middle.
