I experienced a little bit of slippage during the first use or two but after a few wipe downs with a damp rag and continued use, I have n't really had any other problems. The texture of this mat is very grippy and rugged. It seems it would be good for general fitness, but not the greatest for yoga, which is half of why I bought it. If you want to have two mats this is a great option for the general fitness in a home gym.
