[ I received the Columbia Men's ROC Tech Chino Pants free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I got them in black and they are a very good quality pant. They are versatile in that they can be worn for business or casual. The fabric is lightweight and breathable and almost feels like they are water resistant. You do need to remove from the dryer and hang up quickly as they wrinkle easily. Very comfortable fit and feel like a pair of dressy khakis. Great for work as they are very comfortable but also great for a more formal event as they can also look dressy if paired with other garments. This is my first Fjallraven pair of trousers. I 've previously bought from other outdoor brands. Pros: Material seems high quality and very breathable even with long johns underneath. It feels durable and the stitching is immaculate. It has a lot of ventilation pockets and deep storage pockets. Deep pocket placement is great so items wo n't poke you while walking or squatting/sitting. The ankles are slightly flared so thick socks and boots can fit comfortably. They also have buttons so you can do a tighter fit. It is comfortably high waisted and makes movement smooth/easy. I have a curvy figure and the fit is very flattering. No crotch seam. Cons: there are questionable too many seams, which squeeze on you when squatting or bending the knee, but the pants may be flexible because of the seams. It is not a stretchy material so your size is very important. It hugs your waist, so it is not easy to put the pants on as a curvy person. Once it's on, it feels like a second skin though. It does run small. I was hoping a large would let me wear a base layer, but it just barely fits. With the amount of seams, a base layer will probably protect your skin from seams digging in. Will update once I take it out for a few weeks.

It took me a while to spend this kind of money on a pair of pants. Never have I done so, until hiking through mesquite brush, briar, and cacti became a daily ritual as part of my job. Where I am from, the temperatures are scorching during the summer, hitting heat index values of 108. I was skeptical about the G- 1000 being too hot for such weather but the Keb trousers have proven me wrong. I am very impressed with these pants. The lightweight fabric is perfect for keeping me cool and the G- 1000 protects me through the dense vegetation I usually go through. The ventilation zippers at the thighs and calves are amazing additions to help dump that excess heat. The range of motion is incredible in these pants, I am never restricted no matter how I move. I wish I had purchased these sooner! The Keb trousers were my first Fjallraven purchase, and they most certainly will not be my last! Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

Bought these for a hike on Mount Ranier, and they performed exceptionally well. The weather was n't too hot( I 'm from Florida) that day, and I slipped and fell down a jagged set of rocks and they did n't tear at all, although my palm meat took a massive gash. They don ’ t look like technical hiking pants with an elastic waistband unless you really pay attention. I also wore them for multiple elk hunts this fall and they served me very well. Still look brand new and my hunting partners Sitka pants look like the loop side of Velcro from the same brambles and granite rocks we walked through. You don ’ t have to wear gaiters in most swampy or wet areas because of the drawstring at the cuff. Belt loops are big enough for a thick tactical belt and have additional loops for a carabiner or hand warmer pouch. They are very water resistant, don ’ t gain much weight when soaked through, and dry very quickly. They pack down to almost nothing and pockets serve as very effective vents — direct airflow to the gentleman parts. Perfect pants for hunting, backpacking, climbing. If you pair with a base layer they are perfectly fine for the winter, down to 0F at least. My only criticism is that they are not good around campfires or sparks. You will get a pinhole if a tiny ember lands on them. Buy the full g1000 pants if you are gon na be around a campfire or work environment with sparks.

Wearing these pants now. Very comfortable. Minimal stretch. Great fit and look for trail to city. Sizes slightly small so if you ’ re between sizes pick the larger size. Fabric is such that animal hair doesn ’ t get buried in the fabric. Nice water repellency for walking in the rain with dog. Final verdict is these pants are understated but technical enough for wear and tear. Get yourself a pair.

OMG, these are perfect pants for winter activity. Not a ton of insulation, but just enough for high intensity activity when it ’s really cold or mild activity when it ’s a little cold. And the cargo pocket is tall enough for a non- Max iPhone( unlike the dang shorts!). Love the stretch, love the pockets, the feel, the construction, everything. My favorite pants for winter.

I Iike the pant a lot. It seems a bit warm when temperatures move 40 degrees but the sun goes down you 'll be happy. Thicker but still streches nice. 5'10 '' 200 lbs 34- 35 waist 20 inseam. I lift so went up a size for legs.

I love love your zion shorts and pants, they 're all I wear, but in winter they could get a little chilly. Not with these!! They 're perfectly warm outside without being thick or hot and sweaty while inside. I have not taken them off since they arrived so I 'm glad they 're so durable and easy to wipe clean!

Very comfortable with the stretchy accommodation of Stretch Zion in a somewhat heavier fabric that is perfect for winter hikes, cross, country skiing, snowshoeing, etc.. I bought these a month ago in every colour. They are now the only pant I wear. Currently on day 4 of wearing the black ones every day on a wet Oregon coast trip. They repel water, brush clean and are not stinky! The fit also stays true- no stretch or pilling. I am in love with these. I am 5 ’ 4 apple shaped and normally wear a 20W pant. These fit perfectly. The 30 ” inseam is perfect. I wish the non- straight version was offered in multiple inseam length for plus size. Also- more colors for plus please. We have money and will spend it on quality products.

I ’ ve been looking for flattering outdoor plus size pants for so long and cried when I found these. I was worried they would be a slim 22 since I ’ m on the upper end of my weight range& this being an outdoor brand, but they fit and look so good!! Plus they are way more comfortable than I expected. The material is light and soft, the length is perfect with boots since I have a 29 inch inseam, and there ’s even some stretch over time. I ’ m so so happy& would/will probably buy again.

Great material, I like all the improvements done to the pockets and to the roll up legs. Material is a little thinner than past models but this only improves the fit and stretch. They are still very durable. Great fit and very comfortable. Should be noted that these are sized a little differently, They are a whole size smaller than my Halle Pants from previous seasons, but both my size 18 and size 20 fit exactly the same! Minor issue, the pants themselves go from hiking to office casual with ease. I will never stop buying these so long as they fit me.;)

For context I am 5 ’ 3 ” 130 lbs with a small waist but a large bum. I ’ m a typical size SMALL in most all brands for both tops and bottoms. I originally purchased the size small and was dismayed at how large they were on me! But the length was perfect. I think ever since Mountain Hardwear was purchased by Columbia?, the sizing has become inconsistent. Luckily it seems that the quality of material is still there. I then purchased the XS. The fit seemed like it would be tight, but once I pulled it over my bum, fits comfortable and snug- however- the length is noticeably shorter- almost like “ petite ” sizing, which is disappointing. I will keep this pair though, as I mentioned, they are still good quality pants for winter!

These pants are great! Very comfortable and light weight, perfect for summer weather or relax in. My only complaints are that the pull straps are elastic which make it very difficult to tighten it around my waist, and that it doesn ’ t show the inseam length on the website. Other than that they ’ re great!

Excellent material and construction as always. The fit didn ’ t work at all for me, and I had to return them. The waistband is at least an inch larger and length from waistband to crotch is much longer than previous Cotopaxi pants and shorts I ’ ve bought. I wish the site indicated that the sizing had changed quite dramatically since the Crux shorts.
