I bought 4 of these for my grandchildren to wear under their lacrosse gear. The size guide was spot on and the shirts did exactly what we wanted them to do which was to stop their shoulder and elbow pads from pinching them. The benefit we did not know was it kept those pads from shifting during play. The shirts do not hold body odour after washing and they dry quickly so can be washed in a hotel sink and hung up to dry. I am able to move easily and comfortably throughout the day. I like the way it sits on my waist but still has room so it ’s not restrictive of my movement. The waist is also comfortable and stretchy. Some things I ’ d consider changing would be changing the string around the waste to something more stable and possibly adding some type of dongle at the end of the string for aesthetic effect. I ’ d also would ’ ve liked zipper pockets to help contain my items better when working out.

[ This Nike shirt has been a great addition to my running wardrobe. It is so comfortable to wear and has kept me warm in the recent below freezing temps on my runs. I have been testing this shirt for 3weeks and I continue to be impressed. It has made outdoor runs more enjoyable and allows me to keep running outside rather than switching to the treadmill. The shirt wicks sweat which keeps me warm longer than my previous shirts. I also love how practical this shirt is. My two favorite features include the thumb holes in the sleeve and the zipper pocket on the side to hold my ID, cash, car keys when needed. I love that I don ’ t need to make sure my shorts have a pocket to hold the essentials. The shirt ’s fabric is top notch. It has not stained or pilled when washed. It is thick enough for warmth while not being bulky. My shirt is white and my only complaint about the fabric is that the white color is fairly see through so I have to be careful what sports bra I wear underneath it.

It actually feels cooler than the REI Sahara hoodie by 2- 3C, even though they 're both the same weight. I think this shirt has better thermal conductivity. It also absorbs sweat faster which helps increase evaporation. You can check by dunking both shirts into a tub of water. I felt much more comfortable with this in 30- 40C temperatures with high humidity. I can feel the difference under a helmet. It's more stretchy, and greater horizontally compared to vertically so you have to be careful not to stretch it too far in order to keep it's UPF protection so I wear a loose fitting size. The fabric is n't as durable as the REI Sahara, as it has more pilling after a few months of wearing 2- 3 days a week. The wrists seem to be more stained. It has more facial coverage along the neck and side cheeks near the ear because it has a smaller opening for the face. It's a round opening so it sits fairly symmetrical compared to the REI Sahara which has an overlapping stitch at the neck that causes the hood to twist to one side. It does n't have a drawstring but since the opening is smaller, the wind does n't really blow it off, unlike the REI Sahara which needs it's drawstring to be cinched to resist the wind. The only benefit of the REI Sahara is possibly greater sun protection from the side rear angle due to how the hood drapes, but less protection from the side front angle; cheaper price; higher durability.

I wear the echo line of active wear when I 'm working out of fishing. The level of cool I get from wearing the ActiveIce appearal is unlike anything I 've tried before. It keeps me cool and I 'm not sweating as much as I do with the echo fabric. It does come with the trade off of being a bit heavier than the echo and not as breathable feeling since it's a thicker fabric. I will choose to wear the echo fabric when it's a cooler day doing a lot of activity and the ActiveIce fabric when it's really sunny and warm.
