I 've been trying to use hats that were too small for far too long. They always gave me a headache. I finally did some research and ran across Sunday Afternoons which has some nice brimmed XL hats and I got this one. The fit is perfect and always felt secure even upwind. The big brim is great for keeping the Florida sun off my face, ears, and neck. Best of all, no headache.

I bought this hat for a recent trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. It exceeded my expectations; it was simply outstanding. It is lightweight, breathable and provides significant coverage from the sun. Obviously, the equatorial sun can be brutal but this hat kept my face, neck and ears covered from the rays. I was also very pleased that the design of the hat allows for folding without causing the hat to lose its shape and become created or distorted. It is one of my all- time best purchases. Thank you!

I have similar hats but they pale in comparison to this one! This is my go to for walking, rucking, hiking, everything outside hat. Love the shade coverage, the strong brim and a place to safely store my sunglasses when losing daylight! The grey is perfect- not too dark or too light.

I misplaced my other sun hat like this one. I love that it folds and that the brim does n't flop up in the wind. It provides lots of shade without looking completely dorky. I have n't tried the sunglass holder yet, but it's cool that there is such a feature.

I am normally not a Hat Person, but this one is terrific! I ordered the size medium in the color opal, which is a a light off- white. It's very flattering in every way-- size, fit, color. It shades my face without blocking my view. The fabric itself is lightweight= cool, not flimsy. So... can I give you 6 stars on this one?

A well made hat, just a bit too small for my head. I would buy it in an extra large if you made it in that size. I like the brim, just the right depth for protection, without interfering with my collar. I have another one of this style that I purchased several years ago, and it is still my go- to hat for the out- of- doors.

This hat is great for very sunny conditions here in the south. I it not heavy or bulky like some wide brim hats. Cleans well and very easy after use. Wear them all the time when out in the sun for extended periods.

Since it doesn ’ t fold up, I put this terrific sun hat at the bottom of my suitcase, underneath the rest of my clothes. My husband also has this hat, and I got the same size, a large. So, that is a consideration when ordering. It really protects from the sun and isn ’ t too hot to wear in the heat.

I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. This hat will stay in place in a strong wind if you cinch down the chin strap. I wear it kayaking on big expanses of water with no wind break. The L/XL hat fit me well. I hope that Sunday Afternoons keeps selling these hats forever.

Best Hat I ever Had. I have a small head and the medium cruiser fit perfectly. Great hat rim, rigid enough to not bend, pliable enough to be comfortable even in windy conditions. I 've hand washed it and it keeps its shape- has just the right amount of sun coverage and is n't hot to wear- Excellent workmanship!
