So far so good with this rower. Pretty easy setup, basic tools can speed it up quite a bit, but the tools that are provided works fine as well.. Use on the highest setting and it's a great work out, in the future I may find that I could use more resistance. Dual rails feel very stable. Retractor seems to take a few pulls to adjust to the level you are on, but once you get going it works great. Nice quiet operation, can hear tv/ speakers while using no problem. Body is not overly heavy, comes with pads/ feet to store upright to save space when not in use. Improvements I suggest are that you are practically sitting on the floor. Even elevating the height a slight amount would give this a more premium feel. Granted maybe this is normal, it's my first row machine I 've owned. My feet are fairly large( 13's) and I have found that they come out of the pedals pretty easily. Adjusting the strap placement has helped quite a bit, but I still find myself tightening/ fixing straps during the workout.- most likely a user error. Have n't tried a class with it yet, but ca n't wait. Overall happy with the purchase

The HR Monitor does not come with it and is separate, but I use my watch and it ’s fine. Assembly was tricky and required two people, but quick. The operation is very quiet, except the pedals click clack. The device looks sleek and I have plenty of room to slide all the way back. My husband is 6 ’ 1 and had no issues. I have a tough time keeping my feet in the pedals if my shoes are too wide or sole too thick. It ’s tricky starting the session and holding the rowers with the phone in the clamp. The water bottle holder is large. The metric display is small and can be difficult to read the legend, but once you get used to it, it ’s fine. The actual numbers are displayed in much bigger format. Overall I really love it and am glad I bought it.

I got into rowing at my local gym on this same exact rower and loved it. I deceided to buy one for the house( one of my greatest decisions) and tried Concepts and various hydro rowers. They did n't come close as far as comfort and also they did n't have a high enough resistance which I enjoy. I am not very good at setting things up from a manual, I 'm a video person, but I assembled this myself easily in 2 hours, very clever step by step instructions with the tools included. Nothing was very difficult. Then I had my phone connected to the screen, blasting old hip hop videos off YouTube and custom programmed my favorite rowing settings in barely 5 minutes. I just assembled the rower 2 days ago. Assembling instructions very clear and straightforward, it took me about 45 minutes to complete the assembly. Since then I used it twice and am happy with the results. I used to workout with a rowing machine at the gym, and like this one better, as you can use your arms in a wide opening, as opposed to the ones in the gym that you only bring your arms back and forth. Up to now I am very happy with the workout and best thing is I do n't have to leave the house to do it. The only complaint I have is that it does n't have a heart monitor, which is a very handy feature. I know that including it would raise the price, because of the need to install sensors and another function in the display, but I would be prepared to pay the difference, if it was a reasonable one. I am used to the HR monitor as I also have a static bike at home, and this one ahs the HR monitor and it is very handy. I will post a new development comment in a couple of weeks, after using it more times.

It is indeed easy to use and to fold for compact storage. I do not expect to fold it. It fits nicely in my loft with other machines. I do suggest that a newbie watch a few YouTube videos. There are many showing proper rowing form and how to use an air or water rowing machine. They also explain why there is no `` resistance control. '' This is ever so much better than the Precor piston machine that I had 2 decades ago. I did not like the piston design. The Stamina Air Rower is so much better! This machine complements my Landice L7 treadmill, Lemond Revmaster spin bike and Nordic Track Elite ski machine... all tiptop machines in premium working order. If ever I wear it out, I will replace it likely with the beautiful WaterRower.

A day after writing a harsh review about my broken rower, I contacted Stamina's Customer Service and was pleasantly surprised to find they are sending me a new mainframe to address the problem. The representative handled the problem quickly and courteously and my confidence in Stamina has been restored.

Bought this rower because of it's compact size, and I am pleased with it's performance as well! I get a great workout that I can adjust by how fast or how hard I pull. Assembling it by myself was a breeze. At first I thought the meter was n't working correctly, so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I started rowing again and the meter kicked in and is working fine.

I had the air version and upgraded to this one with air and magnetic resistance. It ’s an upgrade for sure with resistance. Less productive at the 30 minute mark. Only concern with this product is longevity as the volute spring went on the prior model. But I stayed with Sunny as the overall product is good and it lasted long enough to where I don ’ t feel it was a financial loss. I used it often. Fingers crossed this last 2+ years with almost daily use.

The rower was easy to put together- my 73 yo sister put it together by herself! It's easy to use. As I 'm in my early 70s and have a permanent leg injury, I am starting quite slowly. But, I am rowing 5 days a week. I think consistency is key. Love it!

I Love my rower!! It was easy to assemble it is not too bulky to have in my living room area. Iy is smooth and the seat is very comfortable.. I have it in front of my large window where I have many plants: u1FAB4: and the Sun shines on me: sun_with_face:: sun_behind_small_cloud: I put relaxing scenic videos that play music on my TV. I just purchased this machine. Let me tell you it is sturdy. The only issue I have noticed is the pedal spacing is farther apart than what I was used to on my very simple and little hydraulic machine by SunnyHealth. But the drive is smooth, the ride is more comfortable because of the fan. and the padded seat. I use this with HOLODIA app on Quest 2 and really enjoy rowing. The main piece is pre- asasembled. You add the pedals, the seat, the slidebar and the rear stabilizer. Very pleased with the sale price and the additional 10% off. Brought the machine cost down to 495. And it is well packaged and protected. It had rained for 3 days and the box was a mess. But nothing touched the machine inside. Lucky for me, my grandson put this together in no time just by watching the assembly video. Thanks SUNNYHEALTH!
