I really like these! They are very lightweight, which is great since I searched for mesh insert leggings to use in hot weather. Even so, they are not too thin for squats, for example. Pockets on each thigh are great; sometimes I forget I still have my phone in my pocket during a workout. They say 7/8 length, but I think they are more like full length( which I prefer anyway). The waistband is high, which is great, but does roll down a little depending on what I 'm doing. I 'm glad I got two pairs in different colors( charcoal, and a pretty mallard blue).

I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ” and 120 lbs, and the XS fits really well. The waistband is a bit snug going over the hips, but once it ’s on, it feels firm and supportive, which I like. The best way to describe the fabric is to compare it to the Athleta brand I also wear. The Athleta brand has a buttery soft feel, a bit slick, thinner feeling fabric, and I do love them. By comparison, the Calia fabric for this legging has a slightly course, thicker feel, making it a bit warmer with a more substantial feel, which I also love. And when I say “ course ”, I should clarify that it is still a very soft fabric and you won ’ t be disappointed. Both are great in their own way, and I wear either depending on what I ’ m doing.

The high- waisted design is a dream – it provides excellent tummy control without digging in, and stays put no matter how dynamic my movements. For context I am 5 ’ 3 ” 130 lbs with a small waist but a large bum. I ’ m a typical size SMALL in most all brands for both tops and bottoms. I originally purchased the size small and was dismayed at how large they were on me! But the length was perfect. I think ever since Mountain Hardwear was purchased by Columbia?, the sizing has become inconsistent. Luckily it seems that the quality of material is still there. I then purchased the XS. The fit seemed like it would be tight, but once I pulled it over my bum, fits comfortable and snug- however- the length is noticeably shorter- almost like “ petite ” sizing, which is disappointing. I will keep this pair though, as I mentioned, they are still good quality pants for winter!

Absolutely love these leggings! They fit snug but move with you. My only complaint is that the waistband tends to roll down when I workout and bend over. Otherwise these are a 10/10 I ’ ve lost weight and these still fit great and I ’ ve had them for about 3 years now. The mesh part at the bottom is see through and they are a little thin so not a great option for the winter time but they are breathable and great to workout/run in.
