I bought these gloves for my 7 year old son, and he loves them. He went out to play in the snow and I kept checking on him to be sure his fingers were ok and he was just fine. He played outside in 20 degree weather for 20 minutes and his fingers were warm and dry. He even came in to tell me how easy it was to pick up snow with his new gloves. Great buy.

[ These gloves are warm, durable, and windproof, making them perfect for cold ski days. The CZone insert keeps hands dry and comfortable, while the grippy palm provides excellent grip for holding poles. The three- finger design is a great balance between warmth and dexterity, keeping fingers toasty even on windy chairlift rides. With a long cuff and snow lock, they seal out the elements, and the reinforced fingertips add durability where it matters most. A solid choice for skiers and snowboarders who want warmth without losing control.

These gloves keep your hand dried very well. I have n't used under several weather yet, so I am not sure about waterproof from rain& snow yet. I used these at 10~15 degrees C, and my hands held some sweat. These gloves alone would be good between- 10~10 degree C. You would need extra thermal gears under- 10C. I felt the size runs a little large as I break in. You could do half size down if you want tight fits.

Fit is good, quality is good, love the color combo and appearance. Have n't used the liner on a cold day yet to see how much warmer they are. Dexterity is good for a thick glove. Not typing texts with these but can uze zippers, adjust goggles and helmet, the basics you need on the mountain. Have n't check in the rain either but it wo n't be long to test that. Honestly all gore- tex is n't what it once was in the 80s. Pay for a name but it really does n't deliver that way it used to.

My son is on snow, 4+ days a week. He ’s blown through a number of other gloves that are more expensive than the spark. I wear other Black Diamond mittens that have always been durable, warm, and comfortable. I ’ m anticipating that these will last longer than other more expensive gloves that my son has worn. Black Diamond makes great product.

I ’ ve only bought this pair because my 5 year old pair was stolen. Through probably 40+ patrol days a year and countless ski and touring days these are consistently the best moderate cold gloves I ’ ve ever had. The leather is durable and the insulation is perfect. It ’s an excellent glove. Only con: BD gloves tend to fit a bit big for the size and it isn ’ t consistent across all gloves. Best to try before you order

I use these gloves for projects where i need the dexterity of fingers. Like the spark mitts, these had a tight wrist area to keep the snow and cold out and warm and roomy finger area. Also like the leash strap on each glove so they hang off your wrist when you take them off.( No more losing them in the snow)

White Mountains 21°F with 5- 10mph winds these gloves worked well as long as you keep active. My fingers were cool but not freezing cold( without liner gloves). My hands did not sweat like in normal gloves. People expecting toasty warm fingers might want to pair these gloves with a thin liner glove. These gloves are thicker than a liner glove but thin and light enough to fit in your jacket pocket. Sizing is perfect. In most gloves a Med is tight but fits perfectly and a Large leaves extra room in the finger tips. These gloves in Med fit almost perfect and leave room for a light weight liner glove.

The gloves are great, my husband is a horse trainer and loves them. Except we purchased them from the Warming Store, same price but service stinks. One battery is defective and can not get in touch with anyone for a replacement. Maybe going direct to the manufacturer is best.

I mostly wear these underneath my motorcycle riding gloves and they 're a life saver keeping me warm on cold weather commutes. I 've also used them deer and duck hunting and with my snowboad mittens and they work very well. Cuff is a bit bulky with the power pack inserted, but manageable.

Absolutely perfect. I use on high always and they are a lifesaver. I use for barn work so they don ’ t look great for long, but keep my fingers warm. This is my second pair but only because I lost weight and needed smaller. First pair still going strong after two seasons

I bought these for my wife because her hands are always freezing cold. She enjoys hiking but was staying away from it because she could n't endure the winter cold on her fingers. She's hiking again, her hands stay warm, she loves them!

Bought these for my wife, who suffers from Raynaud's. She needs to keep the temperature cranked up- which limits the amount of time she gets out of a charge- but they seem to do the trick.

I could n't decide between the snow gloves and the premium gloves and just decided to try the cheaper ones first to see if they heated up enough for a Wisconsin winter. Yuppers, they do. So with the money I saved not buying the snow gloves, I got some more 5volt batteries, so my hands do n't every get cold if I can help it. Shoveling snow or brushing off my car I wear these gloves and they have n't let me down yet.

I usually buy the Grabber hand warmers during the winter in order to slip them inside my gloves to keep my hands warm. When I saw these heated gloves in the store, I thought it was such a clever idea. It saves me money and I feel better about not using so many disposable hand warmers. The battery packs are slim and not even noticeable inside the zippered pocket on the cuffs. They are convenient and easy to use and recharge.

I wanted to try a set of battery heated gloves that heat fingers, and you can definitely feel the heat in these gloves. I have poor circulation around my hands, so the heating from these gloves helped a lot.

I still love these gloves and will continue to use them. HOWEVER, I did gain some more experience with them. Doing astrophotography in Arches in 21 degree weather taught me that I 'll need to add another layer and use hand warmers with these. They were fine while the blood was pumping, but when it came to waiting around, my fingers got numb. They would be perfectly fine for anything above 32 degrees. The pull tabs and large openings made it easy to get my hands in and out quickly. Adjusts at the wrist and opening for a tighter fit.

Mitts are a great mid- weight around town option. They ran a little small for me.
When selecting extreme cold weather gloves, consider features such as insulation type, waterproofing, and breathability. High-quality insulation materials help retain warmth, while waterproof outer layers keep hands dry in wet conditions. Additionally, look for gloves with adjustable cuffs to prevent cold air from entering and ensure a snug fit.
Yes, extreme cold weather gloves come in various styles, including mittens and fingered gloves. Mittens typically provide better warmth as they keep fingers together, while fingered gloves offer more dexterity for tasks. It's essential to choose a style that fits your intended use, whether for outdoor activities or everyday wear.
Extreme cold weather gloves are often made from materials such as synthetic fabrics, leather, and specialized insulation. Synthetic materials are lightweight and provide excellent warmth, while leather offers durability and water resistance. Insulation types like Thinsulate or fleece are popular for their ability to retain heat without adding bulk.
To find the right size for extreme cold weather gloves, measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles and refer to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. It's important to ensure a snug fit without being too tight, as this can affect warmth and comfort. Trying on gloves with the intended layering underneath can also help ensure the best fit.
Extreme cold weather gloves are designed for a variety of outdoor activities, including skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, and winter hiking. Their insulation and weather-resistant features make them ideal for keeping hands warm and dry in harsh conditions. Consider the specific demands of your activity when selecting gloves to ensure optimal performance.
