Where to start with these poles? They 're ultra- lightweight and telescope down to the perfect size to store on the side of all of my packs( avalanche airbag+ backpacking bag+ day hike bag). They come with all of the assorted tips/attachments that you would ever need whereas some companies like to squeeze more money out of you when you decide that you want/need a pair of snow baskets or any other type of attachment for the tips. They 're super strong, I have n't had any issues with them collapsing/giving out on me and I tend to put quite a bit of my weight into these( especially when splitboarding). The cork handles are fantastic, they 're ultra comfortable and I have n't had any issues with blisters or anything along those lines. The extended grips below the cork material are also great for choking up on the poles when needed. The wrist straps are extremely comfortable no matter how hard I wrench into/put my weight into them. The telescoping itself is performed extremely smoothly as I 've had other pairs that do n't slide nearly as easily from one size to the next as you 're making on the fly adjustments for different pitch types. Overall, for the price point I am beyond satisfied with these poles and I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking at getting a pair of trekking poles for ANY activity.

Made the hike up to and down from the Harding Ice Field in Alaska so much easier. Appreciated the poles going up, but also made the climb down that much easier. Height adjustments are made quickly and easily. Poles also unfold and click into place easily. Folds easily into the pouch provided and packs well in suitcase or backpack. Used these poles on hiking trails in Kaitmai and Kenai regions. Very pleased with the investment as it made a tremendous difference in making hikes a bit easier. Looking to keep using these poles for local hikes now too.

Finally upgraded from aluminum to these superlight carbon poles. No issues after 50+ miles of steep hiking. Value priced to boot.

This was the first time using trekking poles. These were easy to adjust. I liked the fact that the poles could flex in more than one direction. I have feet issues so this is important to me. I have only used these once so time will tell how they will do over time.

I took these poles up Humphrey's Peak( 12, 633 feet) and these poles performed GREAT! This is my second set of CMT poles and much like the first set, they work super well. They are very easy to adjust, very durable, and the extra accessories are nice to have too for various conditions and terrain. I had several `` pole bender '' moments where I could have damaged my poles, however these held up and I did not end up doing any damage to them. I look forward to using them this summer as I continue to chase summits.

It's a convenient size for everything I need on hikes. I absolutely love the backpack. It is extremely durable and well- made and very well thought out. It has tons of storage, hip belt and the hydration bladder is a plus as this helps cut down on the bulk of multiple water bottles. It is easy to access things in the side pockets without taking the whole backpack off. It's lightweight and feels less bulky than my old hiking bag.

The backpack has been used while hiking and biking! Amazing quality! Very lightweight get sturdy and reliable. Holds a good amount of water and very comfortable on my back! A must have in your outdoor adventure!

5 Shauna
This backpack has been great for day hikes. There is great padding in this pack. You don ’ t feel any odd objects in your back that might end up poking through to your back area. Hydration bladder is easy to fill and drink out of as well.

5 cscubic
Love the size and color! I can not wait to use this once the weather warms up in Illinois. It is the perfect size for a 4- 6 hour hike. Material is durable as well. I gave this 5 stars because of the size and look so far. It may change after I first use it. Love the straps on the back so it stays in place as you are walking.

5 Matt
Went for a hike with this new backpack that had the hydration sack in it. One of the best products I ’ ve got to try out and I absolutely love it. Slotty other than carrying a water bottle around inside of your backpack or attached to your backpack weighing you down. Absolutely buy another one.

When selecting trekking poles, consider features such as weight, adjustability, and grip material. Lightweight poles are easier to carry and maneuver, while adjustable lengths allow for versatility on different terrains. Additionally, ergonomic grips can provide comfort during long hikes, reducing hand fatigue.

They typically feature a reservoir and a drinking tube, making it convenient to sip water as you trek. This can be especially beneficial during long hikes or in hot weather.

Trek accessories are often made from durable materials like nylon, polyester, and carbon fiber. These materials are lightweight yet strong, providing the necessary support and longevity for outdoor use. Choosing high-quality materials can enhance the performance and durability of your gear, ensuring it withstands various weather conditions and rugged terrains.

Yes, certain trek accessories are designed to perform better on specific terrains.
