Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

I am a 35 years old nomad, and I 've been a nomad since my childhood( thank you, mom and dad!). So you can imagine that I ’ ve gone through my fair share of travel gear. But five years ago, I made the switch to this backpack, and let me tell you: it changed the game!! This isn ’ t just a bag; it ’s my life in carry- on form. We ’ re talking everything: clothes, two laptops, cameras, wires, other electronics, toiletries, you name it... I even managed to attach a tripod and camping tent on the front face for a while.( Who even designs something that versatile? Genius!!!) I am not the most careful person with my belongings, so backpack has seen it all. I ’ ve flown on airlines across every continent, and not once did it get issues using it as a carry- on. Okay, there was that one tiny plane where it wouldn ’ t fit in the overhead bin. But I found an easy solution: I pulled out my laptops, slid this backpack under the seat, and we were good to go.( Sure, the flight was cramped, but blame the plane, not the backpack 😂) It ’s not just about the space, though. This bag is comfy to carry for hours, perfectly balanced, with multiple carrying options and a sternum strap that ’s somehow both lightweight and super durable. And yes, it ’s heavier than my previous bags. But I ca n't complain, because it ’s built to last. Five years of travel( and trust me, my trips are not gentle), and it still looks like I just bought it. No scratches, no tears, not much wear( you can see it in the pic, although the backpack was super dirty on one of those pics lol). And I loooove the water resistance. This thing has survived downpours that left me drenched while my gear stayed dry. Mind you, I have my stuff inside plastic bags inside my backpack, just in case. But the last few times, nothing inside got wet anyway. I haven ’ t tested it recently, and I know that the water resistance may decrease over the years... but from my past experiences, it ’s never let me down.( I ’ ll update this review if that ever changes) If you ’ re on the fence because of the price, but you are looking for something to use for years, let me save you some time: just get it. After five years, I can ’ t imagine using another backpack. It ’s my ultimate travel companion, and if ever it breaks, I would buy another one for sure. I hope this helps someone!!!

'' In person, it is much more of a brighter burnt orange, and I was instantly in love. I was searching for a duffle for its soft body vs any other luggage to have something easy to pack( big and roomy) and easy to grab and carry( handles on the sides of this bag, the backpack straps, or top carry straps!). Received this bag a few days ago, but it already seems like it 'll work great. There's plenty of space inside the bag. For me, it fit 5 notebooks, a decently sized pencil case, a laptop, lunch without looking overstuffed. The straps are comfortable once you 've been wearing it for a few minutes. An added plus is that the bag stands up straight without being propped up on something. Overall, this backpack seems like it's well- made and durable compared to more expensive brands.

Cotopaxi really thinks of it all with their updated version. Some of my favorite features are: all the easy to reach pockets. When you 're traveling you get to know all the little details of the bag and i love all the hidden spots where I know exactly where all my things have their designated spots are so im not searching through the whole bag. My husband and I were trying to decide between the Base Camp Voyager Duffel and the original Base Camp Duffel, and we ultimately decided on the Voyager version, and we are very happy with the decision. We are using the bag mostly for weekend or road trips where we can both pack our belongings in the same bag instead of rugged trips( ex: camping or backpacking) or long trips where bags may need to be checked. The material for the Voyager is not as thick and sturdy as the original version, but it's still plenty sturdy. We are also not rough on our bags though. I the backpack straps, which can easily be removed with buckles and tucked away whereas with the original version, the backpack straps have to be looped through and are more cumbersome. It is also comfortable to wear as a backpack for short periods. The one downside to the bag is that the internal organization zipped pockets do n't have a lot of room or stretch, so you ca n't fit a lot of items in there. I also wish there were internal compression straps to keep the contents in position since they can shuffle around a lot when not fully packed. Overall, we love the bag, and it has become our go- to bag for our trips!

My parents gifted me this backpack for Christmas when I was about sixteen. I am now nineteen and the backpack has held up very well. It is not very big, so I 've never used it for school/college, but I use it every time we go camping, on vacation, to the beach, out for a day, or just if I am going to the library to study. It's so simple and versatile. After three years of regular usage, there is not a single tear and the seams are still sturdy. Almost 0 fraying. Mine is the color `` pink '' and while there are a couple stains, it is overall quite resistant to dirtiness. I use it both for light loads( a couple books), and for a travel bag( when it is stuffed full.) The straps can be somewhat uncomfortable when carrying lots of weight due to their slimness and tendency to push into the shoulders, but after a while, you get used to it, and the design of the backpack resists ALL back pain. I know some people use it for college, but I tend to like a larger and more compartmentalized bag for classes. I would recommend this backpack to anyone who is looking for a sturdy, cute, eco friendly day bag. Overall, although it is a little pricey, I think this bag is worth every penny.

Bought it 2 years ago and it's holding beautifully. Handles have developed some patina but a lot of the bag looks like new. Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper- pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. The one critique would be that the magnets in the Handel are too weak. I highly recommend travel duffel.

Oky... I was at work one day and saw a young woman with this amazing looking backpack. It looked comfortable, sleek, attractive, and just plain cool. I asked her what brand it was and she told me.
