Ordered this backpack for my 8th grade son online because this backpack was not available to purchase in store. We received our order quickly. Last year she decided that helmets were unnecessary and did not really provide much protection and that their effectiveness was overrated. I never wore a helmet so it was no concern to me. I 've had the hardest time finding a bike bag to put my Galaxy S21 in. Everything I 've tried has either been too small or has bumped against my legs as I pedal. Fortunately, the medium Aero Wedge does the trick. With some careful positioning, it can hold my phone along with a bike multitool, tubeless repair kit, and a little bottle of hand sanitizer, without having to unzip the expansion zipper. I did have to fiddle with the attachment straps a little. The bag sits farther forward than others I 've tried, and I needed to lower it slightly so the zipper does n't get hung up on the bottom of the saddle.

While i did not own a helmet my wife has a helmet that she Periodically wears, mostly when biking with her parents, who wear helmets. I am pretty sure it is the first helmet ever made. I actually think it is older than she is, possibly a hand me down from a much older sibling who likely never wore it. Darn it is so well vented light and comfortable you dont even know you have it on. Yesterday we decided to take an all day ride and i said that I would wear my new helmet so of course my wife wore hers. Halfway through she asked …no begged me to try my helmet. On several occasions she mentioned how nice it was compared to her ancient helmet. When we switched back she only wore her helmet briefly before removing it and hanging it on the handle bars and announcing she wanted a new helmet too. Any questions just ask my wife.

This is both my first Giro brand helmet and my first MIPS technology helmet. I like how Giro has the side straps set already so that's two less buckles to adjust and loosen on their own. Coming from Bell helmets I had to get used to adjusting the straps by pulling to center them each wear no biggie for better comfort. I did n't know they made a grey one!! Sweet I 'll be buying one soon. I love this product. I wear a petzl strato helmet for tree work, and a Stihl Advance for ground work. The strato is a buckled bike style safety helmet and Stihl is a hard hat type helmet. The `` ninja' mask as I call works with both helmets. I also wear it under my baseball hats. This is my favorite winter work accessory. It makes those freezing cold mornings not suck so much. One of the best features is that it quickly dries. To small- framed people with thicker legs: I 'm 5' 3 '' 135 lbs with muscular legs. I 've read too many reviews of women's legs suffocating from the knee pads in the combo protective gear packs. I bought these separately and I 'm very satisfied with the product. I 'm able to wear these pads with the top strap about halfway velcroed and the bottom strap maybe 3/4 velcroed. They 're a little bulky, but I 'm able to maneuver on skates to the point where I forget I 'm wearing the pads. The only thing about buying the knee pads and wrist guards a la carte is that Dick's does n't sell elbow pads outside of the set, so I 'm still on the hunt for those.

Neither my husband or I wore a bike helmet in the past. This spring I bought an expensive bell helmet mail order and wore it two or three times before leaving it on the shelf for good it felt a little large too me and very uncomfortable. After i got my husband a speedometer this summer we noticed we were often going 20 mph or faster. I found the fixture in blue for a great price and loved the way it felt when i tried it on. On my first ride I realized how awesome it was to have a good fitting helmet. i was really happy with how much better it felt. Honestly sometimes I forget i have it on. Absolutely no regrets with this helmet.

The design is light and breathable, not making my son's head hot and sweaty. The comfort and adjustable fitting is great. I recommend this to anyone, youth, as that's what we had.
