One size larger turned out to be a perfect fit for me and the top band does not roll over. I found sensor 3 to be very comfortable and it feels like it might be a little bit lighter/cooler material than the sensor 2 shorts. To my surprise, the leg length is a little bit longer than the sensor 2 leg length, which is good. Also, the legs stay in place as I ride. [ Speaking as someone who works with fabric, the pattern on these shorts do n't allow as much freedom of movement as their 2018 model but I 'm still grateful that quality shorts exist for slender riders with long inseams. I miss the drawstring waistbands but this will do.

[ the high waist band would be great for someone with no belly fat, I 'm not a big guy, but you know when you lean over on a bike even `` thinner '' guys have a gut. Well the problem is this waist band gets pushed down by the front guy and eventually rolls down below your belly button, and it's just not comfortable.
