With the mens' the wrist part of the jacket fits snug and my husband has large wrists and hands. So he has to take the jacket off by pulling it jacket first then wrists. Great jacket, love the color and light weight which is what I was looking for. Zipper stopped working after a few wears and would not open at the bottom but it ’s being replaced. A bit expensive for what it is, but if the zipper on the replacement jacket functions properly I ’ ll be happy with it.

[ I 've been a fan of Showers Pass rain gear for a long time, and this jacket is just my most recent edition. Very thoughtfully designed with MTB in mind. The vents keep you cool when working hard. The detachable hood is a great option, once you figure out where to stash it so it does n't get lost. The sleeves cinch up just right so you can regulate air flow or totally lock it out. The reinforced shoulders are great for those long days out on the mountain. I 'd read in one review that it is n't packable, but I 've been able to fit my medium into a fanny pack no problem. Last, the attached microfiber cloth for lens cleaning is super useful. My chest size suggested a small would work, and it did fit my chest, but my arm length needed the medium. The jacket fits trim and is not too baggy.

[ Now, caveat- I live in AL and 50 degrees is cold riding weather to me. That being said, this jacket blocks out the wind and keeps me comfortable without being a bulky hindrance. As for fit, it ’s cycling clothing, it ’s supposed to be fitted. I found this to be perfect; not compression tight and not flopping in the wind.

[ I ordered this jacket for my husband- we do alot of cycling trips and always pack a lightweight waterproof jacket. He was looking for something bright, for safety, that also fit nicely. He loves the jacket and has worn it cycling, walking, and just with 'street clothes'. He's worn it in light rain, not in a deluge, but so far it is waterproof and breathable. I was concerned that the neck would bother him, but he says its very comfortable. Be aware there is no hood- which is fine for him. The windproof zipper placket is a plus, as is the longer back panel. The back pocket is 'centered' which is a plus( we do n't like left/right, and always look for a centered pocket). It has a flap to keep water out, and it is difficult while riding to get things in and out of the pocket because of the flap... but its just doing its job. Adjustable velcro, tapered wrist cuff works well. Reflective accents- Great. Would definitely recommend to a friend, and pleased with the price.
