I 'm very happy with my purchase of this weight lifting bench. It is made of very strong powder coated steel and has a very hard cushion( not squishy at all). Because the padding is not `` rounded '', I just throw a regular bed pillow over it for `` comfort ''- I 'd much rather have it they way they made it than have a soft mushy cushion that only lasts a few months. This bench will likely last many `` YEARS '' of regular use. I weigh about 205 Lbs and usually lift dumbells between 50 and 100 Lbs for about anywhere from 500 to 1200 lifts. So, as I get a decent workout- the bench is getting one too( LOL). I only buy things that are VERY well made and Built To Last, I absolutely despise JUNK. If you are looking for a HIGH QUALITY Portable Bench I think you 'll like this one. It does n't `` wobble '' even the least little bit and is EASY to Fold and Unfold and EASY to carry in and out of the Closet for storage. The `` Holding Pins '' are attached to the Bench by nice cables so you do n't lose them and the Holding Pins stay in place nicely too. I could n't be happier, unless they `` rounded '' the edges of the cushion to conform more to the center of the natural curvature of the `` human spinal column '' but again, a simple bed pillow makes it perfectly comfortable and is not a big deal at all given that pretty much everything else is near- perfect. I purchased this bench last week because I wanted something that I could easily move of the way in my TV/exercise room. With the legs folded, it fits perfectly into the small space between my stationary bike and the adjacent wall. I 'm 5' 8 '' and it did take a few attempts before I figured out how to position myself so that my head did n't flop off the back. I have used this bench for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for keeping it out of the way when not used. I do not have a lot of extra space, so it gets folded after each use and put away. I was a little hesitant about buying this at first because of some reviews of taller people and the benches stability, but I have no issues after using it. I am six feet tall and find the bench to be more than adequate, if I sit down right at the end of the bench. I still have a couple of inches before my head would not be on the bench, so I still have room to move around on it. I also like the fact that the bench is not super wide. This way I am not restricted by the bench when I want the dumbbells to go lower than my chest, for a deeper stretch of the arm muscles. The other issue was whether or not it would be stable. I find this to be more than stable. I have had no issues with this bench being unstable. It is very stable. The only way that I could see that this would be a problem is if I lifted heavier weights than I am able to control, which is not recommended and not safe for you or the bench. I am 100 percent happy with this product and highly recommend this bench to anyone who wants a versatile travel or packable bench.

Pro: I have only had the bench a couple of weeks, but in that time I have found it a very sturdy and versatile piece of equipment. The adjustable back allows me to work my chest from multiple angles, hit my rear shoulder and back with chest supported raises and dumb bell rows, and the leg attachment lets me finish off my legs after a squat work out. Con: The major issue I have with the bench is that it sits kind of high off of the ground and I have kind of short legs, so I have a hard time getting a good leg drive on my bench.

First, the instructions for putting this together were first class. They were very clear, and each step's nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped to a labeled piece of cardboard with drawings of the included nuts and bolts. Secondly this is a very durable bench and has gotten a lot of use by the whole family. My single complaint is that I am short( 5' 3 '') and while I can use it, I would have felt better if it were an inch lower to the ground. However, perhaps a tall person would be inconvenienced by that. I can certainly reach the leg curl rollers, so it works fine.

I looked at a lot of reviews prior to making this purchase. It was very easy to follow the assembly instructions, all the hardware was properly marked and I had it together in about an hour. I set everything out, and took my time following the instructions carefully. It is very well built, the welds are great, the sturdiness is reassuring, and the quality is awesome. Great weight bench. I think the adjustable bench is really underrated. Of course you can work your chest,( incline, flat, or decline), but to be able to put it in an up- right position is invaluable to me. I do my dumbbell shoulder presses, incline bicep curls, and use it to stabilize myself when doing one armed shoulder laterals. As for the leg attachments, the hamstring curl works good, but when I do leg extensions... I do n't know. It just seems like no matter how much weight I put on, I could lift it with strange ease. I know for a fact I ca n't do 95lbs on legs extensions, but, whatever... I 'll figure it out. By the way, by myself, it took me only an hour and a half to set this bench up. So... if your looking for more than `` just a bench, '' then this is a great buy.

I 've had this bench for close to 3 years and have no complaints about the bench. I use it for incline, flat and decline and it has worked perfectly. The leg attachment does n't work that great for me because I 'm 6' 1 '' so my feet end up hitting the ground but the bench part is great. Easy to lower and raise the bar holding part of the bench. Would definitely recommend this product.

The bench seems to be good thus far. I have only had it for a week. it was easy to assemble. it took about an hour and i was able to accomplish it by myself. The reason i give it a good rating is due to the fact the bench pad was tore at the top and a warning sticker was missing. I had to call the manufacture who is sending me a new bench pad and sticker. My thoughts are for the price of this bench it should not have been shipped damaged.

I received the order from Dick's within 2 days by Fed EX. All of the pieces, nuts,& bolts were included. The two wrenches that they send you are ok, but I used my own. When you get to the part about attaching the two rails for the seat, I found that part a little confusing. Also, the 3 pins that they send you to adjust the seat and hold it together, should be replaced with bolts, especially the one that adjusts the seat. It can pop out while you are doing sit ups. I gave it 5 stars, because it is a solid piece of equipment, and the cushioning is great, so it does n't hurt when you do sit ups. It also has the adjustment of slant, for harder sit ups.

I purchased my Stamina Ab/Hyper Bench about 4 weeks ago and I must say I 'm very pleased with this products and the quick results I can already notice. The setup was a little tricky but not hard at all two people is needed for setup but I was able to install it with the simple directions and some support from my 9 yr old son, I would defiantly recommend this product to others and its a great price!!!!

I have been using this unit at our gym for over a year, then bought my own. Only three exercises, one of which does the same thing as a Roman Chair, which is crucial for the lower back; it is called Hyper Extension. If you can not do this for your lower back, those discs will get worst than they are. If you can not do this at least twice a week, skip it.

For over four decades I have been a weight lifter and it would be fair to say I might know a few things on the topic. Because it has been so long in training I finally decided to get out of the gyms and take it home. The above named bench is one of the products I bought so I could train at home away from the crowds. Here is what I found. The instructions showed a drawing on paper for every part to be identified. Once identification is made, the instructions went just as they are written and It went together easy. The unit is stable on the floor and is a quality item in strength. I am able to do supine and incline press positions. There is a place on the slant rail to engage a full 90 degree upright position if one wanted back support for shoulders. However, when brought to this position the seat pad and the back pad conflict in the fold as both pads now touch and the unit will not lock into position. I do n't require a full upright position so I have said nothing about it to Dick's. It is a good bench and for me not worth complaining. The adjustable seat pad is great as it will keep you in the saddle and your body stable on the bench with any weight. I like it.
