These boots are exactly what I 've been looking for! I live in the Cascade Mountains and walk around town in the snow and ice every single day. So far, the traction, warmth, and waterproofing of these shoes has been elite. I have tested these out for hours out on icy and snowy sidewalks, trails, and roads with no issues. I have yet to use them for snowshoeing, but I am looking forward to that as well. They are extremely comfortable and cute, which is a bonus. Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

These boots are a bit heavy but they are very sturdy and the sole feels grippy. Good quality. the inside is comfy and cozy. I love the side zipper for easy on and off. I ’ m obsessed with these sneaker boots! They are so versatile! I ’ m a hairstylist and on my feet basically 24/7, I actually wear these to work pretty often bc they ’ re so comfortable( with my specialty inserts for super high arches) and they are awesome! I get tons of compliments all the time. They ’ re super light weight and not clunky like most boots. The best thing is that they ’ re warm enough for me to wear to the dog park when it ’s freezing( below zero here in Mn) but also not so hot that I can actually wear them all day at work inside. The traction has been amazing on snow and ice so far. Seriously, I ’ m obsessed with these boots, I just wish they had them in men ’s for my husband. I typically wear a size 8/8. 5 in most shoes, but I always wear a 9 in sorel. I also love the wide toe box, which allows me to wear thick socks and not feel so tight like my other boots do. I honestly wouldn ’ t change a thing about these boots.

I 've worn these a few times a month for about five months now and I 'm impressed by their waterproof ability. Recently I had to work for several hours out in the rain and every layer I was wearing ended up soaked- but my socks and feet stayed dry! Construction wise I 'm concerned about how hard they are to pull on- I 'm afraid they 'll wear out at the heel early.
