The Peakfreak was my final choice as I found that the cushioning level matched that of Hoka, without the bulk. I wanted something stylish and warm to get around town with. These Bogs nicely fit the bill. I usually wear a hiking style boot which are functional for walking the dog, especially on trails but the Bogs look great and I was thrilled to find them. I usually wear size 5. 5 but as a bonus, the size 6 fit really well and securely by pairing a lighter sock with a medium thickness sock. I initially was drawn to the green color, but ended up purchasing them in black because they look really great on. The uppers are textured differently and looks classy. The zipper down the inside of the boot allows them to go on and off in a cinch. I am in my late 60's and love them!

I have gotten rid of one pair, a suede pair, because after years of being in the elements they were not looking very professional anymore- but the shoe was still holding up minus the, understandably, worn down tread on the ball of the foot. The Emelie can be slipped on and off! Totally love this feature in a bootie. I have had these boots for 10 years and they still look brand new! They are warm and comfortable, perfect for a snowy outing like tubing. I ’ ve noticed a lot of these reviews are negative, but it seems they are working in these boots. These are definitely more of a cute fashion boot than a work boot. I have walked miles in the deep snow and had many tubing adventures with these boots. Treat them well and they will treat you good also!

I 've only been wearing these lightly so waited a bit before reviewing. They are great looking boots with super fast break in. Immediately comfortable. Very suitable for a moderately wide foot even in standard width. Maybe consider sizing down by a half if you run small.

I specifically bought these as I needed some gardening boots that would keep my feet warm as well as dry. At first look, I could n't see where the insulation was located, but after being out in the yard in the winter, I 've been amazed at how warm my feet have felt. Also, I have fairly wide feet so in getting my usual shoe size, I was worried I would n't be able to use my thicker socks, but there is just enough room for that if it's really cold out.

I 've bought Bogs for many years. These are great boots that keep my feet warm and dry through Buffalo winters. I do add insoles to the boots to make them more comfortable and supportive. I have a wide foot and they fit well.

I have worn Bogs boots for years. I cant imagine not having them in our Idaho winter. They are warm, waterproof, and really comfortable. Makes working around the barn easy. Good in rain or snow. Just love them!
