The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small. My daughter is a size 8 and the 8 fit her perfectly. She loves the white color, and I love the rubber encased foot to lock out rain and snow. The toggle lace is nice when she has on snow gloves and would have trouble with normal ties.
