Color is sharp and beautiful. These are wonderful hiking pants which I hope are not discontinued as they are well made and hold up in the washer and dryer. The material is thick enough to use in from spring through fall. Have pairs in different colors and highly recommend when it is a challenge to find pants that you can wear for a few years. Do not know why companies make clothes that we have to throw away after a few months or less than a year. Again, this is a quality made hiking pants and you will enjoy wearing them when you hike, take long walks or want something casual and fashionable.

I bought a pair of these pants about 20 years ago and wore them until recently when the lining started to deteriorate. I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. I usually wear long johns or long johns plus another pair of warm pants under these and there is plenty of room. Everything seems to be about the same as my older version except this one has side pockets for my hands and I love that! I mostly wear them for hiking in the rain. Worth every penny and I hope these will last me another 20 years!

I bought a pair of these pants four years ago love them so much bought another pair two years ago they 've become my favourites and I overwear them. They still look like new except for a small pick on the thigh of my newer pair but I 'm the only one who knows it's there. Most comfortable pants ever for working and bending they stretch in all the right places. My husband and I even wear them skiing with an under layer. Fabulous secure pockets for multitool, phone and wallet. Never put them in the dryer and you will get many happy years with them. They are expensive but worth the money. I have received more compliments on these pants than all my other clothes combined. I bought the green and cabin red.

However, what I really love about these pants are the ankle straps and the ability to cinch them around your boots. WHERE ARE THE NEW COLORS?!?! These are the most absolutely amazing pants on the market and I 'm getting nervous that there are no new fun colors this season. It's true that this fabric does pill little bit but hear me out- they 're still totally worth it! I work exclusively outside for my fulltime job, hiking 5 miles per day on average and I genuinely wear these pants 4 days a week at minimum. I 've had the same pairs of Ferrosi's for over 5 years and though pilled, they 've lasted perfectly and show no other signs of wear. They are crazy lightweight and breathable but also water resistant. They keep me cool in 100+ degree weather and also do great over a baselayer in the winter. They are stretchy enough but also hold their shape. OR, you better warn us if these ever get discontinued so I can buy 10 more pairs.

I bought them because I previously bought the Halle pant and wanted a straight leg version in a different color( so I never have to wear another less comfortable pant to work). My only complaints are based on what I think are a few with reductions from earlier versions: I prefer my older version's fabric, which seems a bit thicker and softer. I also think the older version might have had a double snap on the leg, which I like better too.( One on each side.) Finally, the waist tire was frayed at the end( nothing duck tape could n't fix). These are certainly not deal breakers, and I still wear these pants every week. Before I got these pants I mistakenly got the Halle II. Even with a post pregnancy body, the extra room in the waist on the Halle II bunched strangely.

I have awkward measurements, pear shaped and honestly have tried on all the hiking brands. This pair is just right. The waistband is flattering and comfortable, length is fine too. Currently using these on the AT. They are lightweight, dry fast, sit comfortably under my hip belt, and have a nice stretch. The cinch at the bottom is nice for hiking them up during hot days. My only complaints are the pockets could be a little bigger/deeper, and there should be more colors. I am 5' 4 '', 150#, and have square hips and a flatter butt, usually wear between a size 6 and 8 in pants. Size small fits perfectly in these.
