This is my first real `` swimming '' suit. I have always worn tankinis, but they have been getting trashed by twice- a- week lap swimming. I never would have thought that I would buy and wear a one piece swimsuit as a 55 yr old woman--- far too revealing. However, I really like this swimsuit! It will feel very snug, but it has held up quite well to the chlorine and wringing out. I 've been using it twice a week for several months, and it appears almost new. You MUST order two sizes up. So, if you are normally an 8, you need to buy a 12. And it will still feel very snug. I like how the legs are n't too high, and the lycra does n't give out( sag) in the behind. I haven ’ t been able to utilize yet in the winter but the elastic waist is much stronger than LL Bean ’s supplex shorts since they went to China for production, and at lesser cost.. Excellent nylon suit, now ordering another pair for summer. Waist and length excellent for swimming, I prefer nylon to polyester in suits, dry quicker, less resistance in the water. Also uses these for surfing sometimes but better for swimming. Side pockets can balloon if bodysurfing, although meshed. Highly recommend as durable swim shorts.
