I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

I have 2- I black that I 've put through the dryer, the other I 've hung dry. The one going through the dryer has got the pills( like others have mentioned). For me, they 've been indestructible. Expensive but the cost/benefit has been worth it. I 'm surprised that others have worn theirs thin- I use mine in the bush constantly and have been anything but gentle on them.

A great short sleeve. Machine wash& dry completely fine. The elasticity of the fabric is smooth to the skin. Protects your core and shoulder areas from UVs. The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. The waist has a room yet it's not too wide( I 'm 6' 2 190lbs athletic build). The only caveat is the color option. Definitely need more colors including White to make the line up more versatile in both short and the long sleeve in Crater Lake.

I am 180cm 65kg and I fit both S and M. I have it a total of 4 times. I also own other Fjallraven t- shirts but this is my favourite. My job is not physical but allows me to have a casual wear and I use this shirts a lot. I am only adding the following to address the other bad reviews. The tag, just remove it. I find so interesting that other customers just didn ’ t do it. If there is an answer about “ well for the quality of the brand I would not like to so that ” Fjallraven is a outdoor brand so if you are comfortable getting muddy, sweat, and dirt in this t- shirt, you probably also do not care about removing a tag or the cotton pilling a little bit. It will not maintain a smooth line fabric but the feeling and comfort doesn ’ t decay.

Recently purchased this shirt at a local outdoor shop. Probably the best fitting shirt I own. At 5'11, 180lbs, I typically fall right in between medium and large for most brands. Medium tends to be on the verge of too tight and large tends to be baggy. The Ovik twill in medium is a perfect fit. I love this shirt. I 'm 5' 9 '', 32D, ~145lbs, and I wear the small. It's classy enough to wear to work in my office; lightweight and cool enough to wear on trail. I like that it stretches, I like the buttons( I 'm not into snaps, too many wardrobe malfunctions), I like that it reaches my wrists( I have a 5' 7 '' wingspan), and I like that I feel good wearing it. The only thing that gets me is that the men's version has lots of color options and the women's is very limited. Maybe a nice sage green? Brick? Light blue? Dark pink? I 'll be checking the website

Not sure what all the griping about snap buttons is about, especially with a fabric so light. I 've pulled snaps out on technical fabric like this, which sucks more than the inconvenience of making sure a button is pushed through. This review is left on first impressions, so I have n't tested it in hot or sunny conditions yet. Based on my first impressions, I would n't hesitate to wear this regardless of what activities I have planned for the day. Golfing, biking, hiking or hanging out at the beach, you 'll look good doing it although you 'll probably need a new one after a crash.

I got this because I was looking for a lightweight long sleeve outdoor button up. This did not disappoint! It's so smooth, and cooling against your skin, and very lightweight! The fabric is really high quality and I find very flattering for my shape. Also, it's really a nice shirt so you can wear it indoors for other occasions. I have n't used it in super sunny weather yet so I ca n't attest to its UPF rating but I 'm looking forward to trying it!

Really great shirt: comfortable for hot days and nights. It gets only 4 stars by comparison with last year's Shade Lite shirt. This one has slightly heavier fabric, and seemingly, a tighter weave, so it does n't breathe as well. On the other hand, the new snaps are much easier to unsnap than last year's metal ones.( I sometimes wonder if I 'll rip the snap out of the Shade Lite before it disengages!)

Great shirt. I 've with our 2. I have a Med and a Large and both fit week( 510/180). Ca n't say enough good about this shirt. Classy, protective, form fitting. I hunt, fish, shoot prs matches, do yard work, and eat dinner out in this thing. I live in AZ and sun protection is a must. Everyone 2- 3 of these. The Freewheel Short Sleeve Jersey is more like a daily driver shirt over a traditional jersey. You can wear it daily for day to day tasks then hit the trail after work. The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog. I took the shirt for weekly rides on local trail heads in MD in spring and on the Santos Trails in FL on a work trip. The stretch is nice when you catch a sticker bush and length is nice if you have a long torso. The only con in my opinion is that a bring color would be nice for hunting seasons. I currently have the blue shirt and it looks good.
