This shirt is fantastic. It ’s basically just a much needed upgrade version of the 1/2 zip elements. What I mean by that is the material is soft and comfortable and stretchy. The shirt also has a mesh ’s area running on the bottom of the arm that goes along the whole sleeve which is nice to help with cooling off. Also it seems to be lighter than the elements which helps it be a better choice to wear on warmer days. Hope these stick around and get more colors. I definitely recommend these especially if you were a fan of the 1/2 zip elements.

[ Obsessed with this top. I 'm a runner so ive been looking for a warm yet breathable top for runs in the fall weather. This is perfect. Its very soft with a light fleece like lining on the inside, but also is dri- fit so i dont have to worry about my sweat! The black color and overall design are very elegant and will go with everything I own. Fit wise, it's true to size-- not too tight, not too loose. [ A really good top for your morning job when it's a little brisk outside. This for the the spring or summer-- in chilly weather but not cold. Can wear just a sports bra or a light tee underneath. Really flattering and form- fitting and the full- zip is super useful to not only take on and off, but also lower if you get a little stuffy. It has a pleasant amount of stretch and the Dri- Fit does a great job of wicking sweat and being breathable without getting drenched in sweat. The collar is the perfect height and the pockets are useful as well. Love the reflective swoosh on the arm to keep you safe when you 're out for a workout or jog when the sun is not completely up yet. I received the thermal heavyweight shirt as part of a Carhartt Crew Field Test, but I can honestly say that this shirt is necessary for everyone living in a cold climate. I find that the sizing is true, and the small works well for me. The shirt handles being laundered very well, without shrinking or pilling. It has retained it's shape. I wash in cool water, and I use fabric softener in addition to laundry soap. The Carhartt heavyweight poly wool shirt is extremely effective in keeping me warm, and blocking the harsh Iowa wind. I tend to stay cold, so this is saying a lot. I love the shirt, because it is fitted. It works well under clothing, without bunching up. I appreciate the `` thumb holes '' on the sleeves, since this prevented the sleeves from riding up while I put on my sweatshirt. Great quality, superior warmth, and comfort.

I purchased one of these and liked it so much I went back and got another one. The fit is perfect. But I did have to size up to an extra large which I have to do with all Carhartt space layers for their shirts. But I like the fit and I like the materials. I wear them at work and it's a lot better to sweat in these than it is a cotton shirt. I believe these are the newer models also as they do n't have the sewn on Carhartt tag. Nonetheless they are still quality shirts but are a little on the pricey side at$ 50 each. But still worth it in my opinion.

It just got foggy, rainy, and cool here in coastal New England and this is a perfect jacket for the weather.

Basically a cargo fleece without looking like it, great layering and external piece. I am 5' 6 '' 155lbs and with most items am right between a Small and Medium. With this item, I tried them both on, and they both fit. I went with the small as I 'm planning on using this as a mid layer sometimes and for this item I wanted a slimmer fit, but if I was always going to wear it only as an outer layer, the medium's boxier/baggier fit would have worked fine. The hood's shape definitely makes it feel like there's a decent amount of material near/around my neck when I 'm not wearing it up. Maybe that would 've been a little less restrictive in the Medium, but the mesh lined hood and the added chin coverage were great when the wind and rain and hail picked up the other day. There are a couple great features that are n't listed in the description that are worth calling out. For starters, in the kangaroo pocket there is an internal mesh pocket almost the full width of the kangaroo pouch with its own top- access zipper, very nice as hoody pockets are typically useless for keeping items in. There is also an added keyring or bungee cord sorta thing inside the pocket, but I 've been getting a kick out of keeping my keys on display on the external D ring- What a fashion statement. I like that this can be worn as a comfy hoody but has as much secure storage as many jackets with much more obvious/bulky looking pockets. This 'll be a staple in my snowboard kit this winter and be great from going straight from the car into my storm shell.

Things that could make it better: Thumb Loops/thin stretchy material at the end of the sleeves, like they have with the first tracks down jacket. Maybe a loop or hole near the neck gaiter area to store sunglasses when not on your face( one of the drawbacks of all pieces with the neck gaiter style). The front chest pocket ripstop is kinda loud(?) when brushed against. Not a huge deal just an inference. Things I love: the warmth, it's surprisingly warm. Pair it with a waterproof shell and you should be good in most places. The fit( subjective), I am usually in between sizes and sized up- it fits exactly how I expect/want, I 'd say true to size. I actually like the small hood, also subjective, but this will stay on my head without a helmet for just wearing casually which is what I wear it for. Probably too small for wearing with a helmet if riding. And a couple really cool features that I never knew I needed: The adjustable cinch at the bottom of the piece allows you to taper/close the bottom towards the hips. One issue I have with 99% of every fleece I 've had is the fabric kinda `` floats out '' towards this hip area when wearing, and makes you look larger than you actually are. This is a great solution for that, so it makes fits quite a bit better with this cinch feature. Another is the pocket- ception, the secret stash pocket within the kangaroo pocket is a sneaky place to store small items. Who does n't love a good stash pocket? Love the print, something other than just one color. I 've been wearing it the last few days and want to wear it all the time, it's extremely comfortable. I imagine I will be grabbing this piece more often than most others in my closet this winter. Very happy with this purchase.

The Abisko fleece is very light and great as a base layer. I regularly wear this around the house on chilly days and as a base layer in the cold. The fit is great. I typically hover between a medium and a small. I went with the medium. It fits a little loose for me which I do not mind.

If you are a former military member and are familiar with the standard issued waffles we were issued for out winter gear then this might feel familiar to you. It feels lighter weight and more breathable while maintaining its insulation properties. And neat fun fact it ’s also 100% recycled. I ’ m a man of many shapes and sizes and the jacket really hides the fact that I was a military man. The thumb holes are subtle enough to be missed but once found it makes the jacket feel like one long fingerless glove. If I had kids I pass this to them. For now, this is mine.

For a lot of synthetic shirts I wear an undershirt because the material does n't feel great against my skin. This one is super comfortable. I picked this up in preparation for a trip to Scotland at the tail end of the winter season. Temperatures averaged 28- 40 degrees Fahrenheit with strong winds and light rain being common. This garment worked extremely well over top of a cheap polyester base layer and often only needed a rain jacket to help protect against the wind when out hiking. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a lightweight and warm midlayer.

I love the new Quantum hoodie! It was time to replace my vintage Quantum from the first year Icebreaker made them, and I wanted to buy last year's model. However, there were so many complaints about the zipper that I decided to pass. I saw that the Quantum IV had a new zipper, so I bought `` tang '' colored one in a medium. I 'm 5' 6 '', 137, and the medium is the perfect fit! It hugs my curves but is not tight, it is a nice slightly longer length, and the lack of elastic at the bottom hem allows it to rest perfectly on my lower hips without riding up every time I bend over. The zipper is easy to use and it's lightweight, so when you unzip the jacket a quarter of the way down, the collar sits perfectly( sometimes a heavy zipper will weigh down one side of a collar). Lastly, the weight of the jacket is the perfect indoor weight for winter, and a nice outdoor weight for spring, fall, and summer evenings. I 'm so glad I bought this jacket- the color is beautiful! As expensive as it is, I actually ordered the black as well! A fantastic hoodie!!
