I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. However I am often required to work outside when it is heavily misting, snowing and sleeting. I have a number of shirts and jackets with a sherpa lining. I love the fit and feel. Very lightweight, which I wanted, as a summer weight jacket. The stretch improves the fit and feel over my other bomber. The only things I would change is; Add the original bomber style shoulder pockets and tool sleeves, maybe even on both sides. A velcro shoulder patches with a cover that matches the jacket fabric to hide the velcro if preferred. Stretch cordura or something cut resistant to protect in the shop against sheet metal edges or on the street for self defence. Hand pocket designed more like the original without the flap. I absolutely love this coat! I loved the color and the fact that it was oversized. I got a med could 've went with a small. The med worked out great where I was able to layer a hoodie underneath it. It was perfect for the car and warmer winter days. I 'm sad the other color sold out in my size.

I initially bought an XL and it was just too boxy. I easily returned it for a size L and it fits my figure well. I am 5' 4 '' and it sits just above my knees. The material is a bit wrinkled from packaging but I think it will smooth out. It is not a heavy wool jacket so not for bitter cold days but enough to keep you warm and comfortable especially if worn in the car.

In typical Carhartt fashion it looks and feels strategically overbuilt. I bought it to use on multiday raft trips. I need something that will do its job. This is exactly what I was looking for. I like the loose fit. We can get snow into June here in Montana and I can layer with this jacket and still move. Good job!

I 've had many UA cage jackets, but this is by far, the best! Adding the hood is a great idea, but I 've always longed for pockets; Bam! Pockets! Every cage jackets, short of long sleeved, needs pockets! The only thing that has me a little confused is the option to cut off the long sleeves; cover to short sleeve. I like the idea, but I 'm not about to cut up a high quality jacket. Why not just add zippers to the sleeves so that they need taken off/on as one pleases? It's make more sense and functional.
